Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, can be brought full circle back to a penis joke... If you try hard enough. Haha.

It was one of the headlines in the emails I get from Road & Track. I didn't include a link because their online articles are behind a paywall. Even with a subscription to their paper magazine, you still do not have full access to their online content.

Stupid cold weather finished off my PS pump on the old Forester. Got a reman, didn't fit in the bracket. Took the WRX to work today... didn't start at lunch. Started later when it was warmer. Weird it started this morning in the really cold cold. Got a booster box now, just in case. Just swapped the reman out for a new one and installed it and took a test drive. I get the best advice from Erik when **** goes wrong.

Plug for Anoka Welding and Exhaust and owner Mike Kaufmann. Truck Flowmaster had rusted through in so many places that it was not even remotely repairable. Numerous positive reviews on Google, several from Subaru owners. Generous man with his time and parts as I needed several new hangers which he just happened to have on hand, including a new chrome tip. Right down the street from Tonis flowers

You want crusty, just wait til I post some pics of the underside of the silver wagon. It's way worse than I remember. Haha.

Let's just say I don't really have anywhere to put jack stands in the rear anymore... Haha.

It's actually sitting on the front most part of the rear lateral linka, because the mounting points for those are at least still strong enough to hold them in place. For now... Haha. I also have the jack under the diff just in case.

Thing definitely needs to be retired but it still runs so I gotta have fun with it while it's still alive. Haha.

I feel accomplished. I hard-wired in both a front and rear dash cam. Works on car start, and on car stop it keeps a rolling I want to say 15 second video window that it writes to SD card if the car gets jostled or whatever. I just need to figure out a better way to tidy up the two wires coming out of the headliner in front for the power and the cable to the rear camera...the power went to the left side of the car (cause fuse block), and the rear camera cable went down the right side of the car. The problem was, the rear camera plugin point on the camera is on the left side of the cam, and the power is on the right side of the mount, so they collide/cross...I guess I'll wind up twisting them up and using an adhesive clip or something like that, on the plastic surround of the EyeSight cameras to hold onto the cable....

Probably the most invasive thing I've ever done to a car past jacking the car up, pulling wheels and installing RokBlokz...or, replacing air filters lol Oh yeah and adding shifter stops..

Tomorrow I'll drive it down a broken road and see how much the excess coils of cable and the power control box rattle in the spots I stuffed them into.

Got the wiring harness in today. The factory harness was up under the glass on the drivers side behind the side panel. That wasn't too bad to get to, but still a bit of a PITA.

I spent money on this XT like it was a hooker with add-ons. Geez... so far: black out grill, STi steering wheel, factory fog lights, JDM slider arm rest, tint, hitch, leather wrapped dash screen cover, snow tires, oh and an extra arm rest because I'm stupid and clicked the wrong link.

Well... got the new grill and fog lights in. Didn't use plastidip because they didn't have gloss. Tried this new sprayable vinyl wrap that's removeable. And no I didn't spray the grill, that's a replacement. Just sprayed the bezels from the fog lights.

I completely get your obsession for the Forester! It’s been a couple of years since I picked up our silver 2010 with a salvage title for $2800. It has been in an accident and repaired. Has nearly every dash light illuminated and only the drivers side front window rolls up and down. But this thing has been a rock! Starts every time. Heater and AC work great. Great cargo space. Especially with the back seats down. It has been super dependable, which I find so ironic because Subaru.

Probably the best used car that I’ve purchased! Foresters FTW

I just sold my 09 for $3k to a buddy's kid. Had everything done to it including some MN weight loss. Suspension, MLS head gaskets, STi Seats, tint, PS and AC pumps, 8 wheels, 9" GPS android radio, and more. Still gonna need a few little things like a wheel bearing so I'm told. But I'm gonna miss the STi seats most. You can see in the pictures above that it's in one photo then gone in the next. Yesterday was delivery day.

Well... the bearing bone is connected to the knuckle bone, the knuckle bone is connected to the lower control arm bone, the lower control arm bone is connected to the worn out bushing.... so it could be a few parts per side. Since the suspension is done, the rest might be easier to swap all in one.

I'm a little late getting this up, but just last month I used the bug eye to bring home our new baby girl!

I've been told three across in the backseat is possible! GJ leaving the Hospital 20250209_113702.jpg

Our 4th and final was born in our living room. So there was no car ride. We will see if she likes the hum of the BRZ this summer.

Bringing a baby home in a bugeye is bragging rights, I'm pretty sure. This is ours about a week shy of 8 years ago.
