I would have to quit a lot more than drinking! Haha. I got a new set of headlights to replace the circuit demon lights that I have and they have been on the shelf now for probably about 6 months. And the car is still plugged in to keep it alive.(circuit demons drain the battery)

I suppose the number of children is probably my issue though. lol

I would probably have them installed if the headlight removal didn’t include removing the bumper as well.

The front bumper is easy! it’s just 16 clips and it pops off.
got the headlights swapped in 1 hr.

Quick little Perrin Detent kit. shifting is much louder... and defined. I guess it's alright. lol

I was looking at those last night, but wasn't sure if it's worth pulling the trigger. Upgrading detents on a K20 setup make a wonderful difference, but the STI transmission is already well renowned for that "bolt-action" feel after upgrading the bushings and linkage union. What is your overall impressions from the Perrin upgrades?

I'll be perfectly honest. I hate it. Lol.
My wrx had 180k miles and it slid into gear, and felt so incredibly smooth.
The STI had a more pronounced and defined shift, which I got used to, but preferred the WRX.
This (to no surprise) made that definition more crisp, which I should have known was not what I wanted.
It's also a little slower to get into gear if that makes sense, because it's a little more effort to get it in.
I would imagine this would be really really bad for Drag or Tracking.

The install was actually incredibly easy, with the right tools. If you can get a shallow enough 6mm Allen in there you don't have to remove the downpipe, or drop the transmission at all.

Well, I went ahead and added them to an order anyway. Looks like I might be reselling them then. Thanks for the review, it was hard to really find any information online about them (which was probably a red flag in the first place...).

I honestly feel like they're a newer product and kind of a fluff product at that. Driveline seems to be a focus that everyone is doing now, which is nice. Will say, the Clutch delay valve delete is absololutely incredible. highly recommend. The driveshaft lockdown, trans mount bushings and rear diff bushings from Overtake have all been incredible upgrades that are well worth the effort.

It's for checking the specs on the end line, specifically for the rotary girder.

I don't know which years came with it but it seems like many. Came with a clutch delay valve. Essentially it's a little spring valve in the slave cylinder that slowly releases, giving the clutch a little more gentle engagement, if that makes sense. Especially when dropping the clutch, is when it would be most noticeable, as it'll slow that drop down a bit. I don't ever do that, but I have noticed that the engagement is a lot more direct with the deletion of this valve. Overtake has a pretty damn good video of the slave and how it works with the delay valve.

    Does a Hondaru count?

Inherited a Forester load of misc Subaru parts from our fallen comrade @silver03 's wife recently as part of a spring cleaning of the garage. Ended up with a black WRX trunk and spoiler that I don't really have a use for (because I only have wagons), but took anyway. Found a home for the spoiler tonight and I think I kinda dig it... Haha.

The color and "quality" of the paint is almost a perfect match.
