I'm going to get the windows tinted soon. Otherwise, nothing much till this summer. Then we'll see what comes up! ;)

I don't remember but at the time the picture was taken I think it was held on with a bungie cord.

I hope the pedobear decals stay.

You could always replace the shocker decals with pedo-kitty or pedo-rallypig decals too.

That's about right g/s for the real cold. Glad you like it. Cold air is fun!

Looks like he has both MAF g/s and MAFv on there. No CFM.

Yup, about 20g/s more than in the summer.

And yes, MAF g/s and MAF voltage read off the ecu.

    Got pulled over :(

Cop tried to pin me with exhibition driving because the back slid out around a small "S" curve. Yea I gave er a little juice, but with a slipping clutch and nice blizzaks on all four it's kinda tough to get enough power to lose control on such a short curve. I just got a warning, but tryin to pin me with exhibition driving seemed a little over the top imo.

Aw I knew the clutch had a little slip before I bought it. I think I should be go till the end of winter at least.

Yea he did both headgaskets, timingbelt, all new pulleys, all new fluids, a few more gaskets, and new plugs for $480+ I tipped him = $600 which is a flippin steal. I didn't get "f'ed" at all imo.

Changed the fog bulbs - finally.

The backsides of those little reflectors hanging right in front bulbs aren't supposed to be all sooty black, are they? Shouldn't they be shiny silver like the big reflector on the back of housing?

3rd exhaust, in my ownership and the 2nd was so Dave could hear the one he bought. It also gave me time to paint my SPT which was nice at the time. :)

Almost lost it on the onramp this monring.

Going from 36E to Snelling N.

Road didn't have any snow or ice, but the surface must've been extra slippery for some reason and with my stiff suspension the rear tires just skated out from me.

Hit the on-ramp too hot cause people can't merge. When I slid I came around kinda fast and was in 3rd at like 3k so the NA 2.5 couldn't push me back straight. I let off a bit and felt the rear want to snap back the other way hard. Thankfully, I know that feeling from certain parking lot adventures and was able to gas it enough to hold it from snapping around on me.

Then, finally, I hit 2nd and took off like a bat outta hell. Shoulda just stayed in 2nd. Stupid 3rd gear. lol

I was worried about snap oversteer on the on-ramps with the stiff rear sway and stiff springs together. It was a little quick, but I certainly felt it right away and there was enough of a transition period to react - but it did come around quick and wanted to snap back the other way on me hard.

Save this question for the car control clinic. Ask your instructor about off throttle oversteer. Also, apparently you and your instructor are related!

Will do. I let off to try to shift into 2nd - apparently not the best idea. lol

Yeah - my instructor is related to my uncle - it was my uncle's garage I used to do my tranny swap in, too.

put about 100 miles on the tribeca, and I used the impreza to jump start my 81, and then took that around the block, got some fuel, aired up the tires, and wished it was summer....

Washed both the wrx and waggy.

Tucked the wrx into storage until it warms up to work on her some more.

Then watched Aric crawl around in the back of the wagon to find an assortment of bits and pieces that belong to it! Found the Carbon Fiber Eyelid that flew off the rs that we gave to Curly last year!! I think we have the other one in the rs still!

    bumper repairs
    [IMG]

discovered that having a pool of water sitting on my floor for a month or so (well for quite a while it was ice lol) has started some little rust dots to appear (but only on the driver's side - i think the paint must have not adhered well on that side). Once it warms up and is no longer so slushy outside i'll pull the seats, sand it back down and repaint that side

Changed the oil and rotated the tires. Gotta love warm weather. Also gotta love how the threshold of freezing is "warm" weather right now.

Got a wash then took it out to see Mike Wray, where he and I did plugs, coil swap, fuel filter, oil change, Group N tranny mount, Whiteline steering rack bushings, and "Gridlocked" mudflaps. Thanks again Mike and Ben (your a life saver!) Ted if you read this the flaps are sweet!!! They scrap on the fronts but thats all good my car is pretty low, the rears needed a little work but Mike and I took care of that. Excellent quality!!!!!

Oh and Mike the tranny mount is sick! So are the SR bushings!

No CEL after 60 miles things are looking good *crosses fingers*
