Oil change, washed and oiled the K&N aif filter and installed the ApexCone HID kit. Thanks Mark and Bill for the help/tips.

Good to hear chet, thanks! What did you have to do to the rears? I think I am going to try to make a couple more sets this week if I find the time. The newest version have a bit shorter fronts, a bit longer rears and the holes for the front are moved down toward the ground by a half-inch.

The fronts went on VERY easy! The straps were great too! There just a little low ;) they scrap on alot of stuff but the coverage is great and there mounted solid as a rock so I just decided to leave them like that. Mike and I thought about drilling new holes but then said for get it.

The rears were a little different story, the hole with the spacer needed some work. We started by putting the two outer bolts in and then marked a new mounting hole with a punch through the designed hole. It was off quite a bit but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed in 5 minutes time.

For future ones I think elongating the holes so that users have the option of running the flaps in or out would be a cool feature. Otherwise A+ Ted!

Took it for a bath, then remembered I hadn't put the front bumper vents back in yet. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow.

replaced my oil a few days ago with Pennzoil 10w30 standard. Still getting piston slap, so I did my research and heard wind that valvoline high mileage syn blend 10w40 is the way to go in California. Bought 4 quarts today, and will swap out oil and see if it helps. Either way this stuff will be better for the bearings.

Bought new spark plugs too. Man it needs them. NGK v-powers. Those will go in on weds sometime with the oil change.

Talked to matt from 555motorsports about tuning on my wrx, now that I have the tactrix cable, I'll be logging runs in a day or so, and hopefully getting a new map in. The one its tuned on right now is aweful, and not meant for 91 oct or the 3500ft altitude. Been getting horrible hesitation, and the knock sensor has been pulling timing pretty heavily anytime I get into boost...so its about time already.

Am in the market for wheel bearings, hawk brake pads, new dot4 fluid, a catless downpipe and hi flow cat for the midpipe, as well as waiting for my clutch kit to come in from timmshow.

Also, should be getting the rad flaps that have been coming out of gridlocked's garage, as well as looking into a set of F&R sways. Hopefully all will be accomplished come fall.

Changed oil, again, for 3rd time so far this month. Trying to get rid of the piston slap. Its not bad, just annoying on start ups.

Well. I finally got it. 4qts of 10w40 Valvoline hi mileage syn blend, and .8 qts lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer.

Also, I changed my spark plugs. Oh... My..... No diodes left. Literally. One had no diode, completely flat, the gap was .60. the other 3's diodes were burnt into what looked like a flipped funnel shape, with hardly any material left.

Man my idle and acceleration is far better. I feel like a jerk for not changing them earlier.

i took out the headlights and cleared them, then i found out why it was letting water in , a few months back my wife hit a turkey and it hit the corner of the hood/light and then the windshield , anyway it was cracked at the top , found it when i took it apart, some super glue and time its back together and hopefully wont burn up any more bulbs

oh and it looks a little better too w/o the big ornge reflectors

Looked at it up close not in total and utter shock ... it looks like the core support is twisted, not sure what else as I couldn't open the hood. I eagerly await tomorrow.
