my4isflat, an rs25 vendor.....he does quality work and they were 60 shipped.

 

That's a good deal. I looked a long time and I think I paid more than that for used ones (Paranoid Fabrications, but they're all pretty much the same).

^ Yep. Started a month ago. Best deal on the block, and if it wasn't for the slightly different looking end pieces I'd have mistaken those for mine (weld & paint quality appear the same).

 

the look just like the TIC braces. If they are just as sturdy thats a good deal right there.

How long was the conversion process?

 

ordered the firesystem, terratrip intercoms, new mudflap material and a bunch of other misc. crap

 

Monday did the good ole pre-ice race oil change. I also changed out the fuel pressure regulator (and forgot to release the pressure in the system). Got alittle wet.

I also found out my oil pan is slowly eating its way through my skid plate. I will need to fix this.

Installed my new 04 sti cluster. That was such an easy mod for a whole new look. I love the red!

Finally got it legally registered. Now I just need to find a shop to make up some number plates.

 

Number plates? Is that your term for a license plate?

 

Yep. The local equivalent of tabs here are stuck inside the windscreen (that's windshield to you) so the plates do nothing more than display the assigned number. You can write them on with crayon if you wish, as long as the police can read it clearly at their arbitrarily defined distance.

Not my suby, but I removed the carbs on my bike. Cleaned the Jets, bla bla bla. Put back in, idle still was crap, removed again, cleaned again, put back in. Runs much better. Sweetness.

Changed the oil, coolant, brake fluid too. Need to pick up a battery now

Yea I wasn't sure if I wanted to take it off or not, so I figured I'd leave it on for now. I can always take it off later if I want. Either way, it looks better now than before.

Got pulled over for going the wrong way down a one way

I live on a "1/2" street where it's one small block of about 10 or so houses. The road is wide enough of ppl to go both ways and not run into each other. Honestly, seeing somebody cheat and go the short way (down the wrong way) is not at all uncommon. I live 5 houses down and unfortunately I didn't see the cop when I turned down. At least he was nice about it and actually agreed that it's dumb for that to be a one-way road. Only a $20 ticket, so I'm not too worried really lol

 

Changed the oil (Mobil 1 5w-30), rear diff (Mobil 1 75w-90) and manual transmission fluid (Uncle Scotty's Cocktail.) Installed a new Walbro fuel pump.
