What did you do to your subaru today?

I have to replace my passenger front rotor and new pads all around. Will be picking up a new rotor from Napa and have some Axxis Ult in the mail. Will top things off with a brake fluid flush w/my favorite ATE in with the Gold and out with the blue.

It seems that rainy season has finally started to wind down, so I took it for a bath.

 

I put my new STi seat in that I got from Evan aka Speedemon. I tryed putting up pic's but it wont let me

Yesterday installed Swift springs, and today got it aligned, then when I got home put on the new wheels.

 

Went to the local opening night of FnF4 in it.

washed, waxed, and armor-all'd my car. got both new drivers lights bulbs too.

 

Fried my front left component tweeter. I have no ****ing luck with stereo stuff lately.

 

Washed it & installed rear AP endlinks w/ manufacturer-direct hardware replacement...

holy stiff rear end batman! Now I really want some front endlinks that fit (apparently Cusco links don't actually fit).

 

very close, just a few minor issues

 

Pulled the old Carputer out and replaced it. Old one was a P4 Northwood @ 2.8GHz w/512MB RAM. The replacement is a Zotak motherboard with onboard WIFI, based on an Invidia 630i chipset with an onboard GeForce 7100. Not a great card... but much better than the old intel integrated graphics on the P4 board.

The new one is running an old Core 2 Duo Allendale e4300, 2GB of Low Profile DDR2-677, and a low profile silverstone CPU cooler. I would have really liked to put in a Penryn, but I already had this chip. Also swapped to a laptop HDD from a big 3.5" and that left me enough room to move the Power Supply inside the case.

It's running like a champ now, much faster and with the new Front End that I just bought it's just awesome. I'm working on getting my MSN Direct receiver with a modified firmware to play nice, and then I've got to build a new skin, or modify the one I built for the previous version of the software. Either way, It'll add Movie times, Gas prices, Traffic, News, and Weather w/o having to use my cell tethering.

And the whole thing back together. The case is in pretty rough shape after 5 years, and 3 sets of internals, but who cares, it hides under the seat.




I also purchased a 7dB high gain wifi antenna that I'm going to be stashing in the A-Pillar once the SMA cable extension gets here.

 

Drove my buddies SC300 last night and realized just how stiff my suspension is ...

Just finished up installing all the interior in the wagon.... Left the carpet out for now so I can get it cleanned! :banana:

 

Just gave it a good wash and picked up an sti axel back for it. After all the talk about claybaring it makes me tempted..

 

Gave her a wash and put on around 250 miles. Also pulled one of my JDM STi headlights apart to start doing my retrofit to them.

 

Swapped the HAM radio and gps out of the wagon and into the Legacy, getting it ready to volunteer at Nemadji Trail Rally.

Seeing everybody else wax their cars made me decide to do the same. I spent an hour soaking a couple exhaust bolts with liquid wrench so i can put on the new axel back tomorrow. Also sanded down the windshield wipers and repainted em.

Had some 255/35/18 dunlops mounted on my wedsports!! THANKS AGAIN 1_sic_rex!! Really excited to try them!

 

...painted them black because the paint was fading. Don't worry they aren't green or anything lol.
