It's been a pain in the ass but it will all be worth it when I get done with them. I will post up more pic's when I do! Thanks for the input guys!

 

Added about 6 sq ft of butyl-based dampener to the inner side of the outer door panel for the front two doors. Had to get way contorted up in the door to lay down a few nice long straight sheets.

Also added some open cell foam behind the midrange location.

Tried to conceive a way to mount my new and very impressive looking but obnoxiously large tweeters that arrived today. Don't see it happening. This is going to end in fiberglass, I just know it. ....

 

installed a shorter quick release - took way longer than it should because we had previously shortened the hub adapter so i had to make some standoffs to space it so the horn connections didn't hit the nut for the steering column. horn all the time ftl

 

why didn't you just unplug the horn? lolz

I drove the subie to a mnsc meet tonight, haha, but that was about it. Oh, and I checked the oil on it... Top dot ftmfw

 

i waxed and buffed mine.put some tire shine on the re960's

 

Drove mine to work this morning and parked in the "hood". If it was a Honda I'd be worried lol.

 

My wagon got v5 struts and P1 springs last night!!1

 

Installed the new Bpm twister catback exhaust on the wagon!!

 

I didn't to anything to it today but someone else hit me with there door and left a nice dent and white paint on my car. FML

Installed a Hotchkis Competition 26mm rear sway/bushings/endlinks.

Threw the bald stocker RE92's and stock wheels on. Had to get the Nokian RSI's off, they were quite unhappy with the warm temps. Also made an appointment with Jeff The Alignment Guy for next Friday to get the RE-01R's mounted on the stock 06 WRX wheels, and perform a stock-ish alignment.

Changed the oil, washed and RainX'd the windows, and put the silver 5 spokes back on. And put another noise barrier sheet in the arse end to prepare for a little journey.

Tonight, out comes the shop vac and interior detailer. Oh yeah, and the :cheers2:

 

Changed the oil on the Legacy by sucking it out the dipstick tub with a vacuum pump and collection jar. Gas leaked past the piston rings while I had the injectors out for cleaning, yes I ran it dry with the fuel pump unplugged but it still happened.

Took it for a test drive, no fuel leaks and runs like a top. At least it did until the front right brake caliper decided to tighten up. Now I have to take that apart tonight to see what the heck is going on in there!

One of the neatest sounding exhaust but one of the ugliest canisters! Nice find!

 

i changed the oil in my wagon. however, i did it the regular way.

 

Well, it was yesterday. New rear struts, thanks to the extended warranty!

 

SUS bumper was destroyed, along with one fog light and one driving light.

Installed new GT bumper:

(I'll pick up a set of JDM fogs later)

 

Fixing the reason I wasn't towing people at the ice race.....


and getting rid of heatshield rattles at the same time...


lots of other upgrades too..... shhhhh

 

Got a stage 1 road tune Bullwinkle and it was probably one of the best things ive done to my car

Put in a SRI from Cosmo Racing yesterday, and now I have a kinked vacuum tube. Now I have to find some no kink tubing or a rubber elbow or something.

 

I put an SPT Heat Shield on!

Put on my new (to me) Momo shift knob. Mixed feelings so far. I like the feel of the ball, but the bottom part being aluminum doesn't feel right. It'll get really cold in the winter, too...

Put a kartboy sort shifter today. Bushings coming up in a few days. It took me 30-40 minutes to do it, not too bad.

 

Got bushing today and decided to put them in. Took little longer than I thought, had some difficulties removing old rubber bushing out but got it done.

 

I changed out my parking lights and waxed my sti.
