I put some zip ties on it to hold crap together.

You know you got a real Subaru when some stuff is held on by zip ties!

the coilovers themselves are pretty nice, I'm just a bit frustrated with the fit on the fronts

(40mm bilstein, h&r springs, group n tophats, custom bodies)

Got new tires today from the Tire Rack -- Bridgestone Potenza G 019's!! No they're not summers, but they're supposed to be a hell of a lot better than RE-92's. Can't wait to slap 'em on.

Anyone want RE-92's with less than 4/32" tread remaining?

ALSO installed some Kartboy front endlinks today. Good gawd what a difference! :eek3: Of course, I installed rear aluminum endlinks two weeks ago so the car's been pretty off-balance since then. ...until now!:biggrin:

JB Welded my radiator. Some stupid press fitting where the fans bolt to the radiator started to seperate making a tiny leak. Ended up JB welding all 4 of those fitings just to prevent any others from seperating and leaking. This will get me by until I buy a new radiator.

Silent seat belt mod on both drivers & passenger sides. Easiest, quickest, and most effective mod I've ever done (aside from the shift knob). :eek3: Took me 30 minutes for both, and it was my first time. That was also with hand-sanding, not a dremel...

Yup, this is a parameter in the stock ECU mapping. Very easily changed if you have access to a cable and laptop.

Over the weekend I did some work on the 1998 Leggy Outback. The waterpump gasket was leaking and it had an internal headgasket leak and the front differential bearings were on the verge of exploding. The vehicle has 160k on the body and 60k on the "new" ej25.

    I replaced the following:
    Timing belt
    Tbelt tensioner
    2 idlerpullies
    waterpump
    Headgaskets
    valve cover gaskets
    cam seals
    Intake manifold gaskets
    spark plugs (NGK Iridium)
    Genuine Subaru air filter/fuel filter

I cleaned the surfaces of the pistons, ALOT of carbon build up on them pistons. I also got the carbon off the combustion chamber/valves.

Installed a "new" 4eat with 104k on it. Replace all external seals, and replaced an inside cv boot.

    I think thats abooooot it.
