What did you do to your subaru today?

Installed some Phoenix Gold RSD 65 cs component speakers in the front doors of the GF's Foz. Threw a good amount of butyl dampener on the door inside and out and a nice big closed-cell foam pad behind each mid.

Gotta finish up today and put the door cards back on. Stupid subaru doors leave no room for tweeters.

 

I didn't really do anything to my car today, but somehow it looks different.

 

finished our first stage rally with everything intact!

I looked at her. Planned on what I'm going to do all day Monday. I might need to refill the bottle for the welder though.

 

loaded some rally tires and extra s from bielke's truck into it.
took the rear diff protector off to see if that was what my exhaust was rattling against.
figured out how to mount 2 bikes inside the car.

Finally got the ewg plumbed back into the dp. I love the quiet! Should have done it a long time ago.

^ atta boy... that just seems like one of those minor design flaws that Subaru chose to overlook.

I drove mine today, and was reminded that I need to clean out / replace the gasket for my IACV this weekend. That'll be fun.

I can't wait, My friend Leo at Motorwerks called me and said they got a STI in on a trade yesterday and nobody has seen it. Plus they didn't have a chance to detail it yet.

 

Installed STi suspension bits. My car is now almost nearly hellafrush.

Watched carl remove 1/2 quart of oil from his car that boomer thought would make it run better. Or something...

oh yea, also had jeff the alignment guy corner balance it. it weighs 3266lbs with a half tank of gas and all the gear in it (suits, helmets, hans, tool kit, spare, spill kit, first aid, etc. minus the driver and co-driver)
