Polished the headlights & washed it... waited until too late, though, 'cause the sun was shining at an angle through the trees. Plenty of little streaks to clean up.

Then I took it for a drive. Damn I love my suspension setup.

Handed the keys to Brian Shorten yesterday, and watched it drive away.

:( what a great car it was. If I dont get this MSG duty now, I'm going to be really pissed.

Lets see... wind bumped my car while I was opening a can of coke and tried drinking it. Ended up with coke all over me so I put it in cup holder pulled a quick uturn before getting hit by a truck ended up spilling more coke in the cup holder while burning the clutch since I was mad about getting it on me. Got that all cleaned up then went to go do donuts to make myself happy again. Will wash again prolly wednesday since I saw its supposed to rain/storm tuesday.

Finally got it back from CA without falling asleep on the road :)

The trip was great, and mostly uneventful other than an involuntary donation to the CO State Fund :(

Brand new painted to match STi Scoop installed with splitter. This was the hardest part of my upgrade. Two local CF scoops that the sellers never showed up to hand over, one broken one arrived via UPS, and one NASIOC rip off. Install took ten minutes.

    ^ Yuk!

SubiDG put the finishing touches on detailing my car today, and we test-fit his wheels on my WRB wagon to see if I wanted a new set of my own. Not sure about the color, but the price sounds about right...

Started swapping downpipes. It's going easier than I thought except for the dp to midpipe bolts, the old perrin dp had 1/2inch flanges and the bolts were rusted solid inside there (even though the flange itself was ss). I had to drop the entire catback and dp as one piece, pull it out and cut the bolts off. But, I'm ready to clean things up and put the new dp in.

Nice looking deck... I need something to replace my aging 2003 Alpine.

Any built-in crossovers? Also, is the only AUX-IN on the front of the unit? I need a rear AUX-IN to attach the CarPC to.

Washed for the first time in a couple weeks - since I waxed it. Water didn't bead up at all, so I think I'll have to wax it again :/
recharged the AC using one of those kits from autozone. so far so good, but i'm sure it will leak out and I'll have to replace that line that is being rubbed by my TMIC.

towed a trailer with it for the first time (the foz). It actually didn't do to well. Ran really hot and had a hell of a time keeping speed. That auto in that thing just will not shift down like the RS's did, even with the pedal to the floor. Cruise control actually works best, it seems.

I'm betting the RS will have a much easier time power-wise, with the fresher engine and the manual tranny, as long as the suspension doesn't send it bouncing all over.
