Too bad you messed up on the strut bar paint. Noob.
How much did you end up paying for the rotors and pads total?

i bought my subarus a new garage today. it is 26x28, 2 doors, insulated and sheetrocked, wired up w/200A service and a 222V outlet.

oh, and it came with an unattached house too.

I used a Meguiar's Headlight Restoration kit on mine last night. One headlight had been replaced in a fender-bender by the previous owner, so only one headlight was yellowed. Tape off paint around headlight, insert buffing wheel in drill, add PlastX, buff headlight for duration of three (3) bottles of Oberon, wipe with included microfiber cloth, peel tape. Stand back and admire with more beer as needed. :)

i did this on my wife's car. it is great how well it works. for like 2 weeks every time i went into the garage i was like.... damn... those are nice. it makes me wonder why more people don't do this to their cars.... i guess the same reason they don't change oil, wiper blades, headlights, check fluid levels and all the other basic stuff for cars.

    Greg nice house! Congrats!

    EDIT @ 9:20 -
washed car, filled car with gas, detailed the insides.... looks like new!

Mines still dusty as hell inside. Will need to find some time to wipe it down quick in the next few days before Tony's party. Was planning on getting it detailed by SubieDG Tuesday or Wednesday, but didn't work out.

today I bought a polisher at harbor freight and went to town... first with polishing compound then with wax. boy is it smooooth!

I usually claybar first but the only clay I could find was name brand stuff for $20. I'll wait to get clay untill I see my friend at a dealership that buys it in quantity.

Rotated wheels, cleaned them while they were off. Painted calipers (non flashy black), and installed a new stereo Alpine iDA-X200 Digital Media Reciver. Sounds so much better!!
