Finished installing the flaps at Tony's after work last night. Rally, rally, rally!

Only issue is that the inner screw on the driver's side isn't catching on the insert and you can move it around quite a bit. Not enough to fall out, but not snug. Afraid if I do rally again, it will bust or something. Anyone got an insert lying around?

I cut the hard spring that came in my used BLITZ bov to reduce the turbo surge when letting off the throttle when in boost. Through guestimation I have about 85% of it gone.

Yeah, Last night I greased up the plumbers rear bushings. It was a bit of a tight fit so I had to use a hammer. I got sweaty. We drank beer afterwords, tim smoked a cig.

Found out that my new foglights are not liking the reverse polarity that Subaru tends to use on their lights.

Apparently Subaru runs a positive to the base of the H3 bulb, and the pigtail is the negative for some stupid-ass reason. :gun2head:

Then he came over to feel up my front flap and tried to rescrew it after Tony had his way with it, but couldn't get the job done. She still has alot of play left in her if anyone wants a go at it.

Although, Tony was an expert with her rear flaps and finished them off in record time.

I am kind of frowny about how few LGTs there are around here.

Changed oil and filter, taught the girlfriend how, flushed the coolant, flushed the brake system, rotated tires, cleaned the MAF after cleaning and re-oiling the K&N, and SeaFoamed it. Maintenance is fun!

Oh yeah, also did a cosmetic mod to the already worthless foglights and got some amber LEDs in there. Subaru uses a negative to the lead of the H3 bulbs, so that made things more than difficult. Either way - got it working and love it. Now I just need to figure out how to get them to come on without needing the headlights to be on low-beam.

i'm pretty sure they gave the retarded engineer the job of creating the headlight circuit. the way they added the hid's for the sti's is particularily interesting

i'm an engineer (mechanical). i even have an electrical engineering minor. trust me, the way they converted a standard impreza headlight circuit to hids is fairly convoluted. well, it's easy as long as you're never trying to mess with it (we re-wired my 04 sti rally car - pretty much the whole harness)

That sucks. To figure how much you have to pay I think you have to go online and look it up.

I don't understand why it is so difficult for the officer to write the amount owed for the citation on the ticket.

at leat one person agrees... to write the darn $ on the ticket. o wait they have to save all the ink they possibly can, due to the big money hole we are in. :hsugh: :ugh: . and of course they say i have so many days to pay and half that is spent waiting to post the actual ticket up...... erg note to self..... SLOW the F Down.

A guy I work with got a DUI or DWI I can't remember which, but he still hasn't been charged or had a court date set, and this happened about a month ago. Luckily no one was hurt.

Sounds about right. Can't be lucky all the time, Will. ;)

Took my misses out of the garage to park my bike behind her, and told her I was soo sorry I've been neglecting her lately. Promised I'd make it up tomorrow, since it's supposed to be stormy as hell, and I don't feel like being a "rider on the storm".
