I had jdm 4pots and went back to the oem 2pots with new rotors and pad's. I had one of the 4pots lock up on me about a week and a half ago on the way back from my rents place. The 4pots fine it just needs new seals and it's good to go. I don't have the time right now to mess with them so I just went back to the old set up. I would a got some nice rotors but my car was undrive able so I just got what ever I could get on the spot. I wish it was a bbk!

I'm in the same pool as you. I want a BBK but I can't afford them until mid september, and my pads are pretty low now so I don't know if I should get new ones or just wait until a BBK.

Popped in my new air filter. Boy, that's a lot harder job than it needs to be when it's 90F out and there's no breeze. Topped up the intercooler spray bottle while I had the bonnet up, since the light's been flashing up when I go round corners. Speaking of which, if my car is über JDM, why does the warning light come up "I/C Spray" instead of some Japanese characters I shouldn't be able to read ?

This thing supposedly uses the same filter material that the WRC cars use. The old filter was a standard paper one. New one was cheaper than a K&N and doesn't need oiling, so it won't screw up the MAF sensor.

Backed into a poorly placed (;)) cement pole at a gas station in Hillsboro on my way back from the Perfect 10 show in Fargo. Was only going a couple MPH in reverse but it made a god-awful noise when I hit it. Expecting disaster, I pulled it forward and got out only to find there was nothing but a very small scuff on the rear bumper. Last time I ever let a pole jump me like that again.

Great choice! I love the Cobb exhaust on my wagon. Used to think it was a little loud at first, but that's because I drove a Cadillac before the WRX.

I did this in a parking lot, but into a wooden telephone pole. Also made a horrible noise. I was so embarrassed I didn't get out to check it until I got home, but there was nothing there. If you look closely you can tell the paint flexed a little, but that's about it.

Cleaned up the 2 quarts of oil that poured out onto our parking lot and then removed the gasket from the old filter that got stuck and pinched when I changed the oil yesterday (doh!). Probably should've ran the car sometime before this morning when I needed to head to work. Cleaning up after that mess isn't the funnest thing to do on a Monday morning.

30k service done over at Dave's garage with Tall Dan and Carl. Rear diff. fluid, coolant, oil, and plugs replaced. Everything else checked-out A-OK. Hopefully posting here again tonight with boost controller, and possibly headlamps/taillamps baked and blacked-out.

Boost gauge installed, with a little help from the Plumber! So far, maxed out to 14 PSI, but can't remember what gear or RPM I was at while taking the ramp onto 100 north from Excelsior.

    Tomorrow, headlight baking time!

Ya, the GF has a bit of a heart thing. SVT for those that know. So her heartbeat was up around 220 or so. Went it and everything cleared up. Last time they gave her a shot and everything went back to normal. Either way, it was a kick ass time sitting around for 2+ hours.:unamused:

No good man, I feel for you. My wife had SVT, a total of 4 incidents where she ended up in the ER, twice in an ambulance.

She went through with the procedure about two years ago, where they freeze/burn the bad electrical connections in the heart, and has not had a single event since. She's been very happy with it.

The procedure was a bit scary, that you have to be awake for it, and while you are sedated, I still can't imagine going through that. They do offer a nice support line where you can talk to other people that underwent the procedure to help quell any fears, and she participates in that, and has encouraged two other people to get it done as well.
