+1 Just because they're cops doesn't mean they should feel free to do annoying and dangerous things like tailgate other drivers for extended periods.

Of course, you could have simply pulled over and let them pass. If they decided to stop with you then you could have calmly explained to them why you pulled over.

 

true i would have done that But i have a fresh speeding ticket under the hood..(my first one ever ) so i didn't wanna give him a possible reason to put my car under the microscope and give me some retard ticket for having bald tires..or something (im working on that..need my check so i can get some nice rims and a set of good tires)

Also, I drove mine up north for the first time since april. It was a blast since I took the curvy route this time instead of the "mazda" route.

 

i'm about to drive mine for the first time in like 5 weeks lol. still trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing with it (big plans but I have to schedule around rallyx and the ice races. I may just say **** it, have the car down for the rest of the year and rallyx the gvr4)

Installed my new Hella Supertones. Yay!!

 

TGV Deletes, air pump system removal, clutch, tranny mount, shifter bushings, Fujified.

 

just got back after driving the car - forgot just how fun this thing is (even with rally tires on pavement). so much better in every department (except comfort) than the gvr4. it's fun to have torque! i might have to take it for a long spin tomorrow

 

I raced the wife (racegirl) lost a fender liner at 150

 

so she won huh??


I fixed the fix of my exhaust fix

was gonna put some spacers (aka nuts) in the rear struts, but after getting one done decided against it and willw ait till I buy new suspension

 

she wishes this was all done on a closed course since racing on the street is illegal

 

Ordered a Perrin UP, TMIC, and a Invidia DP.

Shifter bushings already here.

More parts to be ordered.

checked the compression and it was 150psi on all 4 , was worried that I had low comp in one cylinder.

 

I drove her for the first time in 2 months!!!! w00t for manual tranny and running car!!!!!

 

^^^ yes, its great to see it moving after all of the minor setbacks. Funny how the setbacks were axles and not wiring or something.

 

drove it to the rallyfest at minnetonka subaru!

 

Put new gaskets in the exhaust mani. Changed the oil. Found out my cat back is crap so now I get to buy a new one. And mounted up the new skid plate.:biggrin: Now all thats left is putting on those wrx brakes.:ugh:

 

Wondered why my brake clunk / grind noise came back. Might just drag it into the dealer... :|

Got the last six bolts out (exhaust manifold) to put my exhaust on...got PB blast in my eye:eek3:
Should finally be stage 2 by Saturday!

 

Started driving to work. Gears were knocking like crazy. Scared the crap out of me. Check my tranny fluid and it was low. I must have a leak somewhere. Stopped at Kath Auto and got some, filled it up and it only helped a little. Hope I didnt do any permanant damage

 

Did big 3 electrical - additional 4 gauge wires from battery-to-engine, battery-to-chassis, and battery-to-alternator along with new battery connectors. Just getting everything in order for the 140A alternator that comes tomorrow.

more bigger wires > less smaller wires


Also made a list of everything I want to do to the subie. It's a very long list.

 

I got it back today!!!!!!!! I drove it around all day before work and will continue to drive it all night after work!!! For the first hour and a half of diving my radio was silent!!! I love the sound of subarus!!! Probably my favorite sound ever. I'm just sooo happy to have it back!!! 2morow evenig she will get a very though rub down with some nice wax!! I have sooooo many plans and only so much time.

drove it to tonka today to pickup some parts.

 

with the help of stiv5 and snowbum we replaced the t-belt, tensioner, water pump and t-stats:rockwoot:

 

Made an appoitment for a new tune for more powerz

 

Last night we ripped out the a/c. Replaced the radiator, re-fit the fmic. Cut some more of my bumper so that all that black stuff is outta the way of the intercooler, replaced a bulb in the headlight, and got a oil/tranny cooler to attach to the new radiator.

 

this is for yesterday but i had a womenz in my car and went to uptown

Yesterday - went to park rapids for the soda shop full of win and awesome, then hopped back 15 min to osage to check out the rally's service park. Sucks that I didn't get to see any stages, but good times anyway.

 

Degreased the engine, seafoamed, changed oil, changed spark plugs.
