I really like what you did. Good job keeping with the theme. Did you give the tail lights any more thought?

Today, I bought a clay bar kit and did about 3/4 of the car. That stuff works great. Also bought one of those power ball deals that you put in a drill to clean all of the friggen brake dust off of the hardest wheels in the world to clean. Too bad they look so cool.

Got my MNSOC card today and my sticker. Can't wait to put it on my car, where do most of you guys put your sticker?

    somewhere on a subaru.

I usually see back window (like mine) or side window (like mine).

Today i went to MNTK and picked up my snowboard rack (install pending). I drove home to find 4 winter wheels next to my garage. the tread looks beefy... and i have yet to see the black steelies under the cardboard. still not sure if i am going to paint them before saturday.... black will work, but i am leaning towards lime green. we'll see how friday night goes.

like putting rotas on a subaru, or an sti wing, or -------------- (fill in)

that every Subaru owner does thats original ;)

the best reason for Hella Horns is someone who asks what are those things and as they bend down to look at them... BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

yep got a class mate yesterday in fact.. ha ha h ah

also when some psycho chick flashes her high beams then cuts you off, slows down aka slams on brakes, you can ride her ass (literally 1-2m) for a mile with high beams on and hellas blaring constantly... (yep last memory my mum had before leaving MN to Australia)

Tons of ppl paint them black all the time, they dont seem to have any ill effects, the stock intercoolers on JDM imprezas and legacies were painted black...I think you'll be fine.

Thanks! I've thought about it but I'm not sold on red overlays. I'm looking for other ideas. I've thought about blacking out the tails like the following pic but am not ready to jump off the cliff of crackin' the tails yet to do it.

Sweet! I've had one sitting in my room for over a year. I'm too lazy/cheap to buy the mounts and endinks though. Do you need different stout mounts to put yours on?

no, stock endlinks will work, and as for the bushings, just hollow them out with a file or dremel until they fit the bar, no more cash needed :D, but the guy i got it from sent the bushings and bushing mounts with it too, its an STi bar so i need to mount it to the outside of the links, but it doesnt effect the function at all, and it was the cheapest one i could find.

word. I've been seeing stage 2 GR wrx's putting down more power than my stage 2 sti so that kind of made up my mind. Along with losing 80k miles haha

unbelivable... But true...however, down the road you will wish you had a 6speed after making lots of power:rolleyes: so i would go with may be an STi instead of a WRX.

But how do the WRX's make over 260whp at stage 2 or so yet they come stock with 225 or 265hp?

Did a Duty C solenoid on my sisters car in four hours. Not bad considering the lack of a swing-arm. 3/8" impact wrenches and big compressors are ftw...

ya, i actually drilled them out with a 3/4 inch routing bit haha.
and the STi bar has some fitment issues with the endlinks so i recommend a WRX bar, not STi.

    ill get pics up tomorrow.
i forgot to take them during the day, and now its dark, so yeah, ya get the point.
