    Thanks!

Kind of rare. What is really rare is the Legacy GT version with manual transmission. I wanted one of these with the Limited package, but they are impossible to find.

Yep, twas me. Thanks for the compliment! Probably be swinging by again later in the week, once I figure out what else I need or need to know.

    Outback FTW!

    Yep, 5 Speed!

So what I did today was wash the car, mount the front license plate, got shipping notification for the catted down pipe I ordered from Perrin, and requested a quote for going Stage 3....

welded in another resonator.. seeing as I am keeping the bitch I may as well make it a little quieter.. success??? not totally... ha ha took out some of the harshness under full throttle, much quieter but still not sure how much as I havent sat at 70MPH constantly yet...

    Nathan,
Have you noticed if its quieter in the cabin depending on where the resonator is? Say, closer or further away from the turbo?

nope... too much air space within the cabin of my car being a wagon... it has taken a lot of the resonating out that was coming in thru the rear vents (for closing doors etc so no ear popping) and cargo area) but I think it will be a little more inconspicuous now.. ie.. not as much grOOOOOOOwl when under hard acceleration... I have to pull all the trunk crap out and tape up one of the 2 vents to also help...

You forgot to add that you also swapped to a smaller black hood scoop.

Must be exhaust day. Just put on an STi exhaust, with the help of Tall Dan, and now I hear her rumble a bit.

Nate, that resonator that you put in for me worked awesome at certain RPM's and (of course) not at others. I would say at the higher RPM's, it was the most noticeable. I've also got those noise barrier sheets for the boot if you want a bit less road noise.

Replaced fastener for left tailight trim.

Ordered VF52 turbocharger from Minnetonka Subaru. Settled on supporting mods, and set appointment for install and tune.

Installed Pink Rally Armor mud flaps onto my 08 LGT. They should just tell you to take the damn rear wheel off to install the rear ones. And what is with the plastic clips with metal screws? I stripped three of them. You would think for the price you pay that you would get metal ones.

For those of you who have Rally Armor mud flaps, have you guys had any problems with the plastic clips falling off?

I bought some stainless steel hex heads for my RA universals. They look clean and were a really easy install with a ratcheting wrench. No space issues at all tightening them.

I also drive my subaru from fargo to the cities today. I'm really starting to like this old car :)

Did my timing belt yesterday, finally got that out of the way. It was pretty easy the hardest part was getting the new belt on and lined up right. Now she's got all new idlers, water pump, belts, and hoses. The old belt was still in very god shape, can't say this for the acc. belts though.

Started fitting together a new exhaust set up but had nothing but problems. I ran out of argon for the tig then broke the lens on the auto dim helmet. So now I'm driving with an open down pipe set up. Hope I can find a lens and finish tomorrow.

Replaced the 10 plastic clips for my Rally Armor mud flaps with metal one I got at Lowe's. Almost a dollar, a whole dollar for each clip.

Fit just fine - came with a little "character" already broken in. That way I won't feel that bad when the others get all beat up.
