Put my new snow tires on (yes I procrastinate, I know) and put my free Perrin license plate frames on, they were free!!! I called them and they said they would send me some and I said how much? They said nothing, not even postage!

Found the culprit behind my 0 psi compression on Cyl 2, burnt exhaust valve. At least the block is good. I was for sure thinking it was a hole in the piston.

2 weeks ago sold the snowflakes to Nate so he could have winter rims, put the nice Enkie rims on the GT, then last thursday, came to a realization I should have replaced the slicks with good tires after blowing the right rear just before a turn causing me to spin, but missed the curb and stopping about 6 inches shy of the stop sign. Put the spare on and turned the GT to FWD limped her to the tire shop. New skins cost 250, then found out they rub, and tuesday my speedo died! Gunna be a fun weekend!

Cleaned the ever-lovig **** out of it. After the rallycross school last weekend I took today to clean and polish her up, amazed to feel how rough the paint felt when I started and how glassy it is now. This was the second washing, and I was still able to find areas where there was dirt stuffed into some crevice.

I replaced my shattered headlight thanks to some drunko kid who decided to kick it in. I also found that all all the clips broke off my corner light, so that's just taped on for now until I find another one.

I also put on my freshly powdercoated tow hook :)

well, I found out that gas stations car washes do not exist in STL like they do in MN. I called like 15 BP's before i could find a touchless car wash. I ended up going to the ghetto, which is actually ghetto, unlike MN. it was sweet getting a $3.99 for any car wash, car wash..... but it didn't dry my car at all..... lol. I can't believe it was that hard to wash my car.

Did you have your setup dyno'd with the vf39? Just curious the whp/wtq difference from vf39 to hta68 on the 2.0L.

Pics of said tow hook? I am looking for a way to mount an good tow hook onto the front bumper of my Impreza.

As for today: Put interior back together, removed (Sawzall was involved) rear passenger lateral links/knuckle/axle, picked up some more parts at MNTKA Subaru.

The install pic turned out pretty bad because of bad lighting and the fact that my "camera" is my LG Dare. I've got a handful of other colors as well, but I figured I'd keep it simple with regular gloss black.

I updated the valve clearnaces, and did my timing belt, it sure seemed like a lot of work and a huge PITA to have to wait for the buckets.

I would like to give a HUGE shout out to the guys at the Minnetonka Subaru Parts desk, these guys rock!

Awesome! I had no clue that those unbolted from the lower radiator support. I will need to replace mine asap. 95s had a recall on them for setting off the air bag if you clipped something with it. So they cut mine off :-(

    THIS!
