This weekend I added 20 pounds of dust to the interior, cracked my windshield, chipped the paint, and drove it upwards of 70+mph on the rally stages at Ojibwe!!!:yumyum:

(oh, and added 1000+ miles to the odo)

    Sounds very very fun.

Me, I put the old stock alternator back in and charged the battery. Put my normal 50 miles per day on her (love daily driver subaru :)). Runs even slightly smoother and definitely more open feeling on the low end then before the seafoam. Yay! I think I'm officially in love with the 2.5L H4 EJ251. Waiting very patiently for the time when I can afford to build & turbo it.

    Went and got groceries...

Saw a Sonic Yellow sedan at Applebee's in Buffalo. IIRC you have HID's, and a carbon fiber hood. Yellow MNSubaru stickers too.

As far as Subaru is concerned, there is only 1 Sonic Yellow, not 2 like some people seem to think.

    ONLY 1...

There were 2 yellows, but the allocation on Blaze Yellow (02 only) was so small, that they are few and far between. So similar in color, but yet so different.

Well I havent been on much lately. However the newest change to my car is a 5MT transmission out of a legacy and a brand new clutch. 4.11 FD FTW!

When I get some help I will have some more to post up. Next mod takes 2 people to do.

MARTIN!!! really excited about the 5MT! woot.

and thats a GREAT ratio. you feel restricted on the freeway by RPM's or are the gears long enough to deal with that?

I bought some octane booster to try to get rid of hesitation and a weird clicking noise im getting at wot boost...didnt get rid of the clicking but the hesitation seems SLIGHTLY better. I've done all I can to look for the boost leak except mess with the air inlet tube, which ill poke around on over this weekend.

I got new oil put swapped in, 10w30 mobil 1 synthetic with a mobil 1 filter. Gotta love the 15 dollar instant rebate on that stuff.

Got my front sway bar bushings in. Will put those in this weekend.

Checked into getting an alignment done. Found out that the base hobby shop does them, so im thrilled. not sure of the cost but i'll be getting that busted out this weekend too. AMPED.

Miss minnesota a lot, but I'll be home the 21st-28th of october. I'm going to be borrowing will (se7enrex's) evo, so i might show up to a meet or something as a traitor. No worries the suby is staying around...just not driving it home. I'm lucky to have as good of a friend as him to lend a car like that to me.

oh, and no, i wont be entertaining offers to race. coughfujicough

Yeah, you will have to check it out when you are back next. The 4.11 doesnt seem to restricting. IIRC cruising around at ~80MPH has me sitting around ~3500 RPMs in 5th gear. Not exactly the best for highway driving but fun none the less.

I'm thinking it was the second of my used t25's. Oil all over, smoke. Lots of smoke. And it happened in the rain, so its still parked somewhere in Superior waiting to be towed to my house. There is no winning.

Apparently not, after two have done much the same thing. Forced performance will put T28 internals into a T25 housing, but that isn't cheap, and I'm ready to be done with the money pit.

Anyway, factory turbo powered subarus ftw.
