w00t. New battery. Now the motor spins over like it is a low compression 4 cylinder and not a 15:1 10 cylinder motor with a 100cca battery. Factory crap.

295 WHP and I think the Torque was over 300, but don't remember the exact number. Bullwinkle is supposed to send me the plot when he gets home tonight and I'll post it up.

new front lip spoiler or JDM front end

I destroyed my front lip spoiler a week ago and am looking to replace it. I found this picture, I like the look of it, what do you think. Replace the Front lip spoiler or go with this.

charge speed lip?...if so, u need the whole kit and lower your car to make it look good. on the otherhand i wouldn't install it in the winter for snow reasons ruining it.

Went to Wendy's tonight and slid into a small snowbank/concrete post. Was only going 5mph if that, wouldn't turn, ABS started it's stutter dance and didn't do a damn thing to stop the car. Didn't seem bad when it hit, but then inspected the damage and it cracked it vertically top to bottom and dented it inward. :unamused:

Later, on the way home, I was driving down Lyndale and was in the right lane, which is more like 3/4 of a lane since DOT can't seem to plow the whole damn road, and had to come over to the left lane a bit to pass the cars parked on the right. Unfortunately, some ******* in a big truck just had to get past me, and force me closer to the right. That's when I clipped another car's side view mirror with my own and shattered my housing. After I was done cursing at the jerk-off, I came back around to see if i damaged the other guy's mirror, but I ended up just rotating it out (plus it was on an old beater anyways).

Yes, I am currently consuming a large Jack'n'Coke to prevent myself from destroying someone or something from my frustration. :banghead:

some drive thru areas can really shock you how icy slippery they can be regardless of what speed you are doing. I also drifted a bit in a KFC drive thru doing less than 5 mph.

Expletives were shouted, and most of the anger is out of my system now. The big cost will be the bumper. I might just wait until the spring to replace them, in case some more bad luck comes my way this winter.

Man that sucks. I guess fast food isn't just bad for your health its bad for your car as well.

The mirror isn't as bad as I expected, but still, sounds like an all around bad day.

    time for some zipties!

and that sucks, i did the same thing last winter into a boulder at the end of someone elses driveway.
its sucks when your going so slowly and out of control that you can see whats going to happen more that 1 second in advance, it just makes it that much worse.

sorry to hear about the car man!

Rex -- leave it that way till after the ice races, if you fix it before hand I can almost garuntee you brake something up there... lol

anyways this weekend lots was done to my car. A big thanks to driftin240(mechanical) and Box(electronic).

    timing belt
    all pulleys
    tensionor
    spark plugs
    remote start
    hid head lights
    fog kit installed
    hid fogs installed
    after market radio installed
    hard wired the gps unit
    hard wired the radar detector
removed stock trunk light and installed a 1 foot LED string of lights... much better, but I will be adding more.

    this past week:
    sea foamed the intake
    oil change
    put 1k miles on it

    I think thats it...

I will try and get some pics up this week but with ice race prep and dinner plans it will be tough.
