What did you do to your subaru today?

Scuba_Steve put stage 2 parts on my car yesterday...so awesome. Bullwinkle tune coming next weekend!

i just went stage 2 and love it

 

I just about pulled over to take a pick of 12 cars trying to make it up a hill

 

went out and found a whole new love for the extra hp/tq that a stage 2 brings
also pulled an bmwX5 out of my yard

It's actually pretty quiet for a car without any cats. Not any louder than just the Prodrive when cruising but it comes alive when you step on it.

 

picked up my new color matched wingless lid, and ripped off my front lip on a snow chunk on the way to get it, and installed the wingless lid! woop!

Pulled an OBS hood from a junk yard for $100, sanded it, body filled small dents in it, and primed it. Here's a really crap picture with my non wide-angle lens.

02 wrb WRX. Pretty standard stuff, Vishnu UP, Maddad Turbo-back, EBCS, K&N, Underdrive pulleys. Running stock maps until Bullwinkle has his way with it tonight!

 

Impreza: Added much motor oil. Turbo seals arent the best!
Tribeca: took out some tool CDs this am.

 

Finally ordered my exhaust gaskets.

washed it must have had 50lbs of snow shoved up in the wheel wells. deff need to find a better alternitive to plastic fender liners...

 

Just put a new bsae map tune on my car, yea more torque at lower rpms and higher boost all around, can't wait to learn more.

went out on lake mtka. had some fun laughing at some guy in a ford stuck in the snow. i drove around him and ask if he need a tow but he said no. so i left to go back to my buddys icehouse and we watch him got 15min trying to unstick himself. 45min later we had a knock on the door and it was him asking if i could still pull him out. i wish i had my camera. he dug 4inch deep into teh ice around his tires trying to get out. pulled him out and washed my car to get the snow out of the wheeels

 

Finally got it back after 2 weeks of it being in the shop

 

I'm playing music from my openport 2.0 cause I can. I consider my openport to be part of my subaru so it works on this thread. Just thought you should know, it's not like you have better things to do if you're looking at this thread.

 

got all of the packed in snow out of my wheels, grill, mirrors, under the wing, wheel wells, and under the wipers.
that was alot of snow...

 

Picked it up from Morries, it was fun driving a 2010 Forester around for a day, but I am glad to have my car back

 

Finally the weather cleared up. Wiper motor still shorting out the fuse, so I tooked it easy around the neighborhood and let it roarrr on 3rd. drifted a bit on thin snow and let off some steam from trouble shooting the wiper motor.

 

Put it up in the air. Apparently I have my first scrape on the underside. There was a mini-curb in a parking lot I scraped a bit off the diff support. So minor I couldn't even tell without really looking. Oh well!


Also contemplating selling my exhaust for something else.... Hmmm....

 

got my tbe exhaust on today!! a little quieter than expected since no cats or resonators and just a magnaflow muffler, but she still sounds beautiful!!!

 

what else...i kinda like yours, but i also like mine...cat back or turbo back?

 

Put in a new radiator. That was sooooo easy.

 

I have been enjoying the new Stage 2 ponies that Bullwinkle found. I likey :biggrin::biggrin:!

 

I "fixed" my front endlink.

I took my car to minekie a couple weeks ago and they told me that my front right endlink was busted. This wasn't much of a surprise because I kinda heard something making a funny noise. Well I bought an endlink from a user on this forum and unfortunately he sent the wrong one. Oh well, only $15 so not a big deal. I found out my buddy here in fargo has a full front swaybar with both stock endlinks still on it, so I set out today to throw that setup on instead of my current one. Well after I get under the car and chizzle off a million pounds of ice I saw that my endlink was just fine and the bolt had just came out. Sweet

Easy fix, but it ticks me off that minekie didn't just tell me the bolt had come out. Now I've got a wrx endlink and a front stock swaybar/endlink setup that I don't need and regret buying

 

Bought my car a mate, now it comes down to deciding which of them i'm keeping and which one to sell to the gf...

 

Installed a new air filter and a GS BCS in preparation for my Bullwinkle tune later today...T minus 2 hours and counting!

 

Hit 40k mark. 20k miles in just over a year.
