I changed the oil. It only took me 2 hours so I feel like I'm forgetting something.

We'll see how this rotella t stuff works. So far the butt dyno says a 50hp increase.

    more spray tint???
I got pulled over for my tails the other day and they probably weren't nearly as dark as yours.
luckily the cop only gave me a warning.
    I stripped mine off.
    no worries now

Wow that was quick! You just did those too. Yeah I put another coat on because the first coat was uneven, but my break lights are always on so it dosent seem as dark, probably why I havent been pulled over yet (knock on wood)

Upgraded to 04+ rear sway mounts, put the perrin endlinks and rustline (used to be whiteline) adjustable RSB back on. This should be better than no rear sway bar. But, I hope I never have to change rear sway bar mounts ever again on a car from the midwest.

I haven't driven it yet today after putting the sway bar back on. The car came with upgraded front and rear sway bars, but I broke one of the mounts and took the rear bar off completely for a few months. I expect going from 0mm to 22mm is going to be noticeable though.

On my previous two imprezas my first mod both times was a bigger rsb, and it was a nice improvement each time.

Sweet, I'm probably going to get one for my 09 impreza, the car rolled before but now with 150lbs of audio equipment in the back the roll is amplified

i dont know what you guys where talking about, i found doing the mounts and the whole rear sway bar really easy, took maybe 15 min including lifting the back of the car a little just to make it easyer. (you just need a 14mm and a 12 mm socket) and i have noticed a huge difference in the back, going from a lot of body roll to pretty much none in comparison. its way faster though the entrance and exit ramps as well.

Installing a sway bar and endlinks is really easy, but the mounts that bolt to the frame are harder.

The driver's side mount was easy, the bolts were just really rusty, but I just had to go slow and keep oiling them so they wouldn't break or strip.

The passenger side mount is a pain because the carbon canister and gas filler tube are in the way. Taking a hose off of the canister helps with one bolt, but the other one I had to partially unbolt the gas filler tube and flex it out of the way to get a socket on it, just removing the plastic cover wasn't enough. And the bolts on that side were so rusted it was a struggle to get them out without breaking. I think if the bolts weren't rusted I could have broke them loose at an angle, but as it was I had to use a 6 point socket with a breaker bar straight on to get them to move without stripping.

i didnt have much of a rust issue on my car, the liquid wrench took care of that, as for the passenger side i was able to get a socket on it with an extender by just pushing the electrical connector out of the way, again rust wasnt an issue. also i didnt try to remove any of the housing or aything, a bent socket wrench would have made it super easy though. More of an issue was getting those bolts back in and triple checking that i didnt cross thread them because the bushing wanted to push them to a new angle. i think this would be a common problem.

Hmm, I still think we're talking about different parts. I put these on...

Not just the clamp that holds the bushing in place. With the larger bar and solid endlinks, I broke the orig mounts.

Painted them on the car. I thought about taking them off for a minute, but after putting a wrench to bolts I decided that it would be easier to just tape up the rotors.

oh D***! i was wrong sorry!, those could have been much more of a pain in the butt. sorry about my confusion, i thought mount was refering to the clamp that goes over the bushing, sometimes i lose it..... seriously though any idea why subaru would have a female and male bolt config on this part? it struck me as pretty odd.

I got an alignment from Jeff the alignment guy...good stuff.

When I got home, I took my door apart as my window was stuck up. That went very, very badly and it looks like I will be dropping the car off at the dealer tomorrow. Fark. So bummed/pissed right now.

Got it washed at Mermaid because our hose isn't long enough to reach the car park off the alley, then polished the headlights and got pissed again at the person who swiped my front bumper last year and didn't leave a note. The bumper cover has never fit right since.
