Yesterday, installed the new body parts with help from Tony, Jesse, Tim, Will, and Dan x2. Thanks a bunch, guys! Everything lined up about 90% perfect. The right side of the bumper keeps popping off from the fender bracket, but I'll find a cure for the fender cancer, as Dan calls it.

Da Plumber and I picked up our new project car. '95 Impreza 2.2 coupe with 175k miles on it and auto transmission. It was quite a steal! Pics to come tonight.

Will do. Got the grill ready for primer today. Going to spray it tomorrow. Picking up some yellow laminex for the fogs in the morning, getting some intake build parts, refinishing my lips/skirts, then I really need to figure out my running problems.

    Here's the finished product:

In this pic, you can see where things just aren't lining up right. Subaru Fender Cancer, as Dan puts it.
    View attachment 22104

Here's the other side, which lined up well!
    View attachment 22107

I'm guessing that the passenger side had damage to the subframe from the first accident that happened on that corner back in September, and it's causing alignment issues. I didn't notice it until now somehow, but when you look at the car head-on, that side is pinched in closer. I'll be taking it back to Hamline and seeing what they can do about it.

The "bike" is a piece of "art" in St. Louis Park. It's made me do a double take a few times...

painted my lgt rims for my wrx. also pulled the tranny to replace a slipping clutch. here are some pics of the carnage. pretty sure it was caused by me being a cheap ass and not resurfacing or replacing the flywheel last time i did it.

Welded on a new captive nut for the skid plate, since my last one broke at the Thin Ice Rally-X. Looks like I will mabe need to be be doing another one after this event since one of the rear ones seems to have stripped out. Otherwise pumped the snow tires up to 40psi.

Drove it to mcdonalds at break and after 10 min of idle it began to smoke so bad I had to shut it off so the guy behind me was getting smoked out. Then started back up and hasn't done it again. Turbo seals?

finally got my 94 legacy sport sedan started. turns out the positve connectors on the battery were too corroded to let the juice flow. now i just need to get a new battery so it will stay running once i pull the jumper cables.

Spent 6 hours washing/claying/polishing/waxing my RS. Too bad the body is in pretty rough shape because blue ridge pearl is a good looking color. Also, I wish my garage had any light, that sure would have helped...

finished removing interior, exhaust, side skirts, and started in on prop shaft. failed at removing rear window--> harbor freight your tools suck, i expect at-least 1 use out of your tools before having to throw them away.

Hand washed both the GT and the Outback. Not my best work, but it was the first time this spring. I know, I'm lazy, but I hurt my knee 3 weeks ago and didn't feel up to it until now.

will do, so far they handle great, not too bouncy. They are a variable rate spring so they ride nice for regular driving and hold tight when cornering hard, I do have f&r sways tho. Just right for me, gives the car a nice look too
