Haven't posted in a while here but I finally couldn't resist and bought one of these:

There is an $100 off coupon for the Ender 3 Pro at MicroCenter for new customers if you sign up for it via their website. Once signed up they'll text you the coupon. So this was basically $100+tax. Spent that much buying filament to go with it, upgraded springs, and a glass print bed. Promotion is running through September 8th but must be purchased in store. When I bought mine nearly 2 weeks ago there was over 20 in stock.

Now I've got to brush up on my CAD modeling skills again....or just download files from thingverse. But that doesn't sound as fun honestly.

I would stay away from their rechargeable crap though. I had a Chicago Electric battery pack start smoking while on its charger.

Wife got a new car today. nicest, newest, lowest miles car either of us have ever owned. I inherited her TDI sportwagen with a fresh turbo, rawtek exhaust and full dieselgate delete, While I do my full major maintenance barrage on the wrx. I'm torn if we're going to keep the the sportwagen or the wrx now

VW > Subaru typically, lets be real. The Sportwagen could make as much power, is actually practical and won't break every time there's a full moon or the Vikings choke.

The stock downpipe? You better get a lot more than that for it (unless scrap prices tanked recently).

Welp, the day finally came. I bought a "new" Subaru! 2018 Outback 3.6r touring with 30k miles! Been looking at the 3.6r Outbacks for a couple years now, and finally did it. They even gave me 1400 for my 04 wrx wagon with mis fire codes due to the valve lash needing adjustment, rust, paint defects, 230k miles. I was surprised. Both my wife and I were pretty sad to see her go. Lots of memories with that car. Anywho, here she is.
    20211011_173816.jpg

White was not my first choice, but at least I won't see scratches like on my black car. Interior is exactly what I wanted, the brown leather. I'll get pictures of the interior another time. I love the power this 6 cylinder has! Nice linear power band, and I'm pretty sure this 3900 lb. Car is fast than my wrx. Cvt is, well, a cvt. It does just fine, but nothing to write home about. I lol'd at the paddle shifters. More posts and pictures to come.

So they did away with that big-ass roof rack that had the self-storing cross bars? H6 would have been my first choice too. Looks nice. Enjoy.

Only with the touring model. That was one of my reasons not purchasing other Outbacks in the past, I never liked the built in system. It looked so bad. Apparently, you can buy those sleek roof rails and install them. Sounds like a huge pita.
