Chonky tires for truk.
Haven't posted in a while here but I finally couldn't resist and bought one of these:
There is an $100 off coupon for the Ender 3 Pro at MicroCenter for new customers if you sign up for it via their website. Once signed up they'll text you the coupon. So this was basically $100+tax. Spent that much buying filament to go with it, upgraded springs, and a glass print bed. Promotion is running through September 8th but must be purchased in store. When I bought mine nearly 2 weeks ago there was over 20 in stock.
Now I've got to brush up on my CAD modeling skills again....or just download files from thingverse. But that doesn't sound as fun honestly.
Dang, haven't posted here in awhile! Hope y'all been good. Most recent purchase for me is oil, grimm speed drop in filter and gfb hybrid bov.
2022 OB Onyx XT (CBS). Forester met an earlier demise than planned… on to subie #3. 5k on the clock already and I am loving the car!
Picked up a Saabaru hat
Compound miter saw for stuff.
Harbor Freight ftw
I would stay away from their rechargeable crap though. I had a Chicago Electric battery pack start smoking while on its charger.
Left the house with intent to test drive some trucks. Mistakes were made. Not sorry.
Wife got a new car today. nicest, newest, lowest miles car either of us have ever owned. I inherited her TDI sportwagen with a fresh turbo, rawtek exhaust and full dieselgate delete, While I do my full major maintenance barrage on the wrx. I'm torn if we're going to keep the the sportwagen or the wrx now
I was about to like your comment...and then I read this.
VW > Subaru typically, lets be real. The Sportwagen could make as much power, is actually practical and won't break every time there's a full moon or the Vikings choke.
Post malone tune it's seeing ~ 150 hp and 230 lb-ft of torque at 63 mpg.
Sounds about right probably.
Mine hasn’t broken yet. With the exception of the throw out bearing and clutch that I got done(wear items)
Picked up a jdm front lip and it fits pretty well! Not even mounted yet, just put it on and friction fit for the pic
you're only lying to yourself Josh, we all know the trauma caused by the old cars.
The only one that really remotely caused any headaches was the RSVX. And that was race car
Unless you count this?
It took out all brands in the lot though. Not Subarus fault.
if you were a boat, rather than a bus it wouldn't have been an issue.
Looks like someone is planning an errand in Minneapolis.
And I meant for self defense, not looking to make a heist.
GTA has made heists a common errand. Proceed.
Just spent big money. Don't worry the wife is on board.
I know right!? Wish that I could get my wife “onboard” for an order like that!
Well it is for her car lol. Me telling her I'll get like $600 bucks back for the stock exhaust probably helped a bit.
The stock downpipe? You better get a lot more than that for it (unless scrap prices tanked recently).
Really? My brother told me 600-700 and I thought that was a lot damn. Gonna try to go to Adolph's today.
Holy smokes! No wonder cats are getting stolen left and right!
Not too long ago I was seeing $1500 on some Subaru groups. Definitely shop around...
Welp, the day finally came. I bought a "new" Subaru! 2018 Outback 3.6r touring with 30k miles! Been looking at the 3.6r Outbacks for a couple years now, and finally did it. They even gave me 1400 for my 04 wrx wagon with mis fire codes due to the valve lash needing adjustment, rust, paint defects, 230k miles. I was surprised. Both my wife and I were pretty sad to see her go. Lots of memories with that car. Anywho, here she is.
White was not my first choice, but at least I won't see scratches like on my black car. Interior is exactly what I wanted, the brown leather. I'll get pictures of the interior another time. I love the power this 6 cylinder has! Nice linear power band, and I'm pretty sure this 3900 lb. Car is fast than my wrx. Cvt is, well, a cvt. It does just fine, but nothing to write home about. I lol'd at the paddle shifters. More posts and pictures to come.
So they did away with that big-ass roof rack that had the self-storing cross bars? H6 would have been my first choice too. Looks nice. Enjoy.
The 3.6R is an excellent choice! Looking forward to interior pics
Only with the touring model. That was one of my reasons not purchasing other Outbacks in the past, I never liked the built in system. It looked so bad. Apparently, you can buy those sleek roof rails and install them. Sounds like a huge pita.
Doing my yearly Mnsubaru visit. I live in Austin TX now.
Damn Chris! Looking good!!
