If it doesn't work, I can always paint them silver. But I'll give the gold a try to start and see how it looks. They should arrive Tuesday while I'm on vacation. Not that there is any rush. Also, does anyone know who to go to for tires around here?
I have purchased my last two sets of tires from Discount tire in Coon Rapids and have been very happy with them. You could also give this guy a call, I don't know anything about him but he came recommended by one of the members on here. Justin Tillus of Vision Speedworks.
It appears vision is a product only, and you need to find your own person or business to mount them. This is right up my alley.
I search around for the cheapest price. Then call discount tire and have them beat it. Got my Bridgestone cheaper than tire rack and didn't pay shipping.
God damn those things are getting sexy. I'm beginning to regret any jokes I ever cracked about Ford acquiring Aston Martin.
They offered those as a company car this ordering cycle, and I ALMOST pulled the trigger on it. The only reason I didn't is because I absolutely NEED more space for storage for work. Otherwise, it would have been no question. They are super easy on the eyes and they are very well appointed for the price.
Ford in general has done a great job of revitalizing their lineup. They are making some phenomenal cars and they are hard to beat for a dollars to features ratio. Beautiful ride Russ!
So far I only know it looks fast. Only 70 miles and I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. I will know soon enough. I think we got this for about 3k less than the new LGT and the features this car has blows away anything Subaru has to offer, on top of more power and better mileage. Chris wanted to look at everything in her price range, and this was not one of the cars I wanted to look at. I loved how it looks, but with little info on the car itself and basing everything off of the 2012 fusion I wasn't really happy at the potential options. As you can see, the features and options were the best bang for the buck for a 30k car. Now onto some tint and a clear bra for the front. Russ
Exactly that. For sedans this year, we had the choice of a Chevy Malibu, The Subaru Legacy and the Ford Fusion. I always look at what the sedans are equipped with, since it is a car/suv I'm going to have to live with for about a year and a half. The sedans never have the cargo space I require for work. But going down the list of STANDARD features made me seriously consider getting a roof rack to haul parts, lol. They always show you the exact feature packages you are getting with your cars, so I went to the manufacturer's sites and priced them out. I couldn't believe the value you were getting from the Ford Fusion on standard equipment alone. There's a reason Ford is still doing well, and I think this is hands down why. You get alot of car for your dollar.
While I think GM is getting things turned around in their product line, I think their general lineup is just...boring. The interiors are bland and unexciting and for the most part it seems like their vehicles are mostly vanilla. If anything, for the most part they're a domestic Toyota. They're getting things fixed (Camaro, Corvette, Cruze, CTS, ATS are all examples) but they've got a long ways to go. Russ, I'm looking forward to hearing what you both think of the car. I have to admit, the dealer experience at a Ford store is a different world than a Subaru store. Just the sheer amount of aftermarket accessories for the product line (mostly on the truck side) is amazing. That being said, the service at both Minnetonka Ford and Minnetonka Subaru (both Morries stores) has been phenomenal.
Man, my kids are getting big, fast. Two new car seats (now a total of 4, two for each car.) and we picked up the bench behind the seats for toy storage.
You're going to look silly towing that wheelbarrow for your ginormous manberries all over the damn place.
I assume most MNSubaru members wouldn't understand it at all, but I suffer from a pretty serious addiction to worked glass art pieces. Just paid for this pendant last night, should have it later this week: This marble is my "most recent purchase" that is actually in my possession at the present moment. You can see the artist's titanium-pen signature in the top-left picture. He goes by Andy G, and actually grew up in northern Minnesota, though he's working out of Wisconsin currently.
This guy was just waiting for me to get home It's going in the Legacy Saturday.. so, yes, i have the JDM Kit as well.. Anyone interested in a Legacy 6-Disk head unit with an Aux-In Kit installed?
Should be here this weekend =) Also picked up some fiveomotorsports 1200cc top feed injectors for it so i can get it drunk.
