hey guys im trying to find out who owned a green, 1995 subaru impreza L that had the tranny swapped and a turbo put in, the car was pretty rusty and had steelies on it, had the 2.2 motor with a ton of miles and an 05 wrx spoiler on the back... i have the car now, the clutch or shift fork just took a crap and i need to fix it, its a cable tranny i just need to know what you got the tranny out of so i can get parts. the cars locked up inside my work and i didnt have enough time to get the ID number off the trans. if you find this post in time PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT TRANNY YOU SWAPPED INTO THE CAR. it was an automatic before and you swapped it to manual! thanks guys!! much appreciated! :emo:
All cable-type clutches are completely interchangeable. So anything with a non-turbo 2.2 and 5MT will be perfect. If you need more serious parts, there's a part number on the transmission right next to the starter. Throw that into google and you'll be able to find out exactly what it is.
