I'm by no means near replacing mine and I'm glad to not have a car payment. But she definitely doesn't run as smooth as she used to (tune up, and retune in order there), and I've got all the scrapes & dings associated with living in the city. And jesus christ is the thing dusty. So the question is this: If you were ever to upgrade to a car with more power and more luxury features, what would it be? I've always lusted over the BMW M3 and the Audi's are looking pretty sexy to me right now (although I don't know if I could trust buying a car from the same company that makes the Jetta uke, but I at least want to look into them. Or would you just grab a nice LGT?
I sure as hell wouldn't spend too much money if you have car ding/damage issues from the city. Yes, I'd grad a nice LGT limited. nice on the inside, drives great, and can be a real fun car to mod!!
FTMFW. I'll take mine in Red please. There is one I see every day in Golden Valley. That car makes me feel funny inside.
for fun/weekend/track days....exige s 260 / with some lotto help for everyday....something awd sti , a3 audi , another jeep...i have a 164k jeep for a daily and i have been very pleased with it for the last 7ish yrs....only put about $1500 in it w/o oil changes and has gotten me to work with 30" + snowfalls when i lived in denver with out issue
Carrera GT.... or the cabriolet Turbo... both are way out of my price range... Until they get a better way to swap the H6 into a sti or they turbo charge the new legacy with the 3.6 liter motor.... i'll keep the poor man's porsche...
If I get one car for the whole year in MN, I can't think of anything better than an STI. If I get two cars, then I'd probably be looking at a z06.
I was going to buy a G8 Gt when I was car shopping but I realized I couldnt give it a good home thats why I bought a wrx it likes wot rally on gravel roads. Also saved 10g by going with the wrx so my payment is a little more friendly. G8 is a nice car. Hopefully better than the pontiac I had before as far as quality.
I would have to say the new Ford Fiesta. Good mileage, it actually looks pretty hot and it gets a good review in a "proper" top gear car test.
BMW 335i, Porsche Cayman, or an F-150. I can't make up my mind. If they sold it in the US I'd be all over the MB E63 AMG wagon.
I've alwyas had a hard on for the Legacy, especially since around 1996. I finally got my hands on one and feel my car desires have finally been met. I really cant think of anything to replace my recent upgrade of the lgt. But if I had to choose somthing I'd probably go with somthing from the bmw 6 or 7 series.
Ruf CTR Yellow Bird. When I was little my uncle would take me for rides in his late 80's 911. Always loved that style of porsche.
