Reality: I'd replace my WRX with an 08+ STi or a Legacy GT, assuming I have a little healthier income at the point of replacement I LOVE my WRX and don't really have any desire to own anything different, nothing has the same value/practicality/appeal to me, at this time. Dreaming: I'd replace my WRX with an 08+ STi as well as a 2010 Camaro SS, Nissan GTR, and a T-72 MBT (yeah, why not? I'm dreaming, anyway).
I'm kinda biased towards All Wheel Drive now. So I'd have to pick either another Subaru, or those new Audi's with the led headlights.
after looking at the new Ford Raptor at ojibwe this past weekend that is one cool looking and sounding pickup.
Wow, definitely. I'm not usually a truck aficionado but that thing is pretty badass. I want one! :yumyum:
RS4 all the way. But I would want the newest version, naturally, then get the MTM supercharger kit.
My plan is to either keep my STI for a winter car/daily driver or get rid of it and get a 328 X-drive. For a summer/fun car I will get a Lotus Exige S 240. First I have to get out of engineering school and then I can afford to have more than one nice car and by that time I am sure my plan will change.
After test driving a few, they're really not as fun as I always imagined. Handle great, but not fast... no POWA. Some people are fine with that, but just not for me. Plus the thought of damaging the clam shells would make me paranoid driving it on MN streets.
Well as you can see I am a little partial to the LGT, best car I have ever owned. Just glad I bought a radar detector. :iconpolice: BUT... If I had money.....:yumyum:
Meh, a lot of potential cars could easily replace a Subaru. It's simply a matter of features and how well the end total package fits your wants and needs. If I didn't chance across my current Forester, I'd very likely be driving a Scion tC right now which is a very nice car itself. The 2.4L and 5sp brought over from the Camery works really well and offers a similarly powerful and wide power band as the Subaru 2.5L. It's also apparently friendly to boosting, although, I'm not sure to what extent with stock internals. The handling and ride was quite good and stable when I test drove it. It was also the quietest cabin level of any car I've ever been in, surprisingly. The fwd is a deterent though, as is the hatchback design if you frequently have tall rear passengers. It also comes stock with RE92 tires. I don't know why so many companies keep tossing those tires on: Subaru, Toyota, Honda...
I have four top pics, in no particular order- 1) 87-89 4th generation civic SI hatchback 2) 2009 Maserati Granturismo S 3) 2010 Evolution X FQ 400 4) Dodge Challenger SRT 8 Yes, I would love driving a differetn car every day of the week and yes that is Seven vechicles for the summer and Seven more vehicles for the winter.
i'll replace my 96L coupe with these: 1st gen G35 coupe G37 coupe R35 GTR any NSX 02-03 wrx 06-07 wrx TR
Other than a subie (i wouldnt replace i'd just have these as other cars sitting around): 90 CRX - Already have it, just have to finish it... Somedays I just have to have drive a honda, for some weird reason I like the slammed on the ground, rides like ****, annoyingly loud, swerve around potholes, vtec cracking cruise now and them, lol.. E34 BMW - Preferably an M5 but a 535 or 540 would work.. comfortable luxury ride with power... Good road trip car or something where you want to "arrive in style" and it's pretty much timeless FC RX-7 - One of the first imports I ever wanted.. Nothing like a turbo rotary being revved out or the lopping idle of ported ones, they drive and handle amazing, and good for when u wanna go sideways... Late 80's early 90's toyota truck - For when stuff needs to be hauled.. and for when the **** gets too deep for a scoob... lol
Kind of hilarious side note: My brother won a contest on youtube where he gets to drive around a 2011 Euro model Fiesta for 6 months (gas & insurance included). I got to drive it and have to say it was pretty impressive for what it was. Interior was a little too alien/future looking, but it has a high compression variable valve timing 4 banger that had not pathetic punch. I wouldn't buy one, but a pretty nice compact car.
Yeah, the only reason I'm asking is because I should have a solid few more years left on the WRX, but I can see my money situation being pretty good by the time I need to replace it. This is mostly having to do with upping the luxury situation a bit.
This 335i is looking pretty sweet. No matter how hard I try. But still, like the NYT said:
seriously matt? a mustang II? the biggest pile of dump on the planet? A complete abortion that even ford appologizes for?
pfff it looks good :yumyum: thats all that matters! id rather have the super snake though....750 horsepower of godlike amazingness edit: can you tell i like ford and toyotas much?
What ever it was would have to be AWD. Short list is 07-08 S4 or newer 335XI. If I end up holding on to the STI for another few years they maybe an RS4..
