Slug, 9" Nails, GnR, The Black Keys, any B3 jazz squad, pre '95 hip-hop, RATM, ACDC, Public Enemy, (old) U2...blah blah blah

Regardless, no effing kuntree under any circumstances... I'd rather listen to dogs fart...

    oon

    sssss.

Electronic music for me: house, progressive. Think Nick Warren, Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Benni Benassi, Dave Seaman, and Hernan Cattenao.

    Very good stuff.

All about the metal! \m/ :yumyum:

My CURRENT favorite bands are Opeth, Porcupine Tree (not metal, but awesome no matter what you call them), Vital Remains, Deicide, Austrian Death Machine (basically just Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying), As I Lay Dying, Katatonia, The Absence, Vomitory, Amon Amarth, and Behemoth. There's plenty more, but I'd be here all day.

Oh...And country "music" makes me want to stab my eardrums with a cattle prod. I really don't understand the lasting appeal of a genre that basically revolves around wearing Wranglers and Stetson hats, drinking beer, getting divorced, drinking beer, paying child support, drinking beer, riding cowboys/horses, drinking beer, ad nauseum. Beer is fun, but I hear enough about the rest of it from the older gentlemen at work that songs about it just about drive me nuts. Nothing against fans of it though, to each their own.

In conclusion, however, I will submit that several of the bands I listen to would probably have the same effect on some people as country has on me. Some are an...acquired taste.

I have enjoyed them in the small doses that I have heard. I need to get some of the records they have out. I think I have two. (lateralus, and 10000 days). Again, I just threw some artists out there.

When I see them live I get goose pimples for the whole show... It's like I feel them inside me... So yeah I guess I really do like a little tooling

You're missing a few... But all are great cover to cover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1991-92 Opitate= short and heavy
1993-94 Undertow= heavy... The one that started it for me... Sober, Prison sex, ect
1995-96 AEnima= starting the shift towards grunge/alternative metal... 4degrees, Push it, Third Eye <-- all time favorite song peroid
2000-01 Lateralus= grunge/alternative metal... The Patient, Lateralus (track) was voted greatest song of the decade by one of the rock magazines
2005-06 1000 days= Least heavy... The Pot, Jambi, Rosetta Stoned <-- favorite album of all time

They slid Salvia in there... It was part DVD part audio... It contains some of their earlier videos and a few unreleased tracks... One is a cover of Led Zeplin's No Quarter

Of all the music I listen to... Tool is being played 40-50% of the time

I don't listen to the radio, I listen to my turbo spoolin'! (the young me, but this is my first turbo-awd car). But in all seriousness, I've been listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Guns n Roses, Queen, and Muse lately. Also mix some OG rap music and trance then I'm good. Otherwise I don't really listen to the radio all that much.
