2009 outback 3.0 r. 120k miles. no accidents. few dents that were fixed and a replacement door as this was the easier fix for a dent.

I forgot I had this tab open and was now beaten to the punch.

    Day is ruined.

Its a 3.0 so its probably absolutely pissing oil, no rust is a plus. I'll say 1500-3500 somewhere in there.

Try checking kbb, or nada. That should help you decide.

Kbb's trade in value should be realistic and very disappointing.

I looked at KBB. I had no idea that the 3.0R was the cheapest model? I thought that it was the most expensive?

it was the most expensive when we bought it. it's my wifes car. will see what she decides and put it up.

I saw a lot of discrepancy between KBB and NADA prices.

Granted NADA doesn't care about color of the vehicle but the thing is to omit the Mileage dollar amount because it's purely speculative on what they perceive the car to be worth at that mileage (ie. a wrx with 120k vs an 3.0 Outback vs a Pontiac Aztec) I would guess the actual value to be between $4000-6000 and the "going" rate is about the same from what I could find across the usual places (Fb marketplace, craigslist, cars.com, dealerships, etc.)
