I know this has been covered a million time and I have rear through a ton of post on it but let me know what you think. ok so I have an 04 sti. yesterday I finally told myself screw it ill upgrade to the 5x114.3 pattern because the bearings are that much better and have the stuff you need to change im putting on the car anyway (coils, brakes, etc.)

So im looking at TSW Interlagos wheels which I think look good, they are rotary forged and decently priced. I wanted to g0 17 or 18 by 9 but their offset was 63 or 32 which I think is to far either way? my other options are a 18 by 8.5 with a 45 offset or a 9.5 with a 40 offset. I will be running 255 tires, maybe 265's if I go with 9.5.

I have no idea with they will clear the brembos but I was going to call and ask so I may have to run a small spacer to.

Fenders will be rolled and I can pull them slightly if needed (I have and eastwood roller). I know its really ticky with these cars to fit between the coils, the brakes and the fenders so any help would be great.
edit: Also note that this car will not be slammed. it will be street and track car, forum over looks..... but still look good

+63 will probably be way to close to the strut, esp with a 9" wide and 255. +32 will be close to the fender and a roll will be required... And perhaps a goofy amount of camber, but tough to say. 18x8.5 with a 255 and +45 sounds about right and 255 on a 8.5 is plenty of tire patch. Jumping to a 9.5, +40, and 265 will probably also require a roll and a fair amount of camber.

ok I think ill go with the 18x8.5 with the 35 sidewall I still think it will be pretty stuff. if I have to put a small spacer to fit the brakes, I still got a little room to play. thanks guys

Remember if you run spacers, you will need longer studs.

I have 17x9 +35 wheels on my 05, plus spacers to clear brembos in the front. Car is setup for Auto-X/Road Course so it will have lots of camber anyways. Rears are rolled, and pulled a pretty good amount and the fronts are also rolled.
