    Hi all -

I recently acquired a set of Rota rims that I think will fit on my 04 FXT, but I think I need wheel spacers...just can't figure out how to calculate the size...

    OEM wheel: 16x6.5, offset +48

    New Wheel: 17x7.5, offset +53

    Same bolt patter of course.

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to figure out what size spacer I will need, if I need one at all?

    Thanks ALL!

That offset should be fine. It comes in half a centimeter, but is 1 inch wider. Backspacing info would help, but if they are Rotas in Subaru fitment, they likely fit just fine.

You shouldn't need a spacer with that combination, that's right in the OEM ball park so you should be just fine.

Edit: Jason and I seem to be on the same wavelength lately.

No, there is just a listing of proper offsets and wheel sizes floating around. Probably find it on Nasioc.

That doesn't really tell you what acceptable offsets work with your wheel bearings. It just tells you if you'll clear the inner strut tube. Which it wont even tell you that unless you know what the acceptable back spacing is in the first place.

There is a thread in the tire/wheel section on Nasioc about offsets and widths, I think it's under the stickied threads in that subforum.
