Ok, so I'm using an Ebay tial knock-off 50mm BOV. Piddster's seems to be working fine, but he told me I'll want to buy a genuine TiAL spring. So how do I determine which spring to buy, there are a few different PSI ratings on them. Also, where is the best place to buy them.

Are we talking EWG or BOV? on a BOV i would get the lighter spring then you can always make it stiffer by preloading it with washers or something.

Yeah, BOV. Is preloading like that safe?

I'm using a 9psi spring. They have a guide on their website http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/w3_tial_bov50_sp.pdf

I pull about 14 in/hg at idle so I got the 9 psi spring. You can shim it a little bit if necessary. You don't want to shim it too much because you'll limit it's travel.

So basically I can't order the real TiAL spring until I get the car running and see what kinda numbers I have?

I would wait, personally. You can mess with the one you have, and order a TiAL one is you need to. $30 is $30.
