This is a valid point. I'm glad that they work for you. And they indeed work for many people. A lot, actually.

I'm assuming that his quip was directed to me. Don't ever try this argument with me again. I have had plenty of experience with Apple MP3 players, Apple PC's, and enough experience with Apple Cell Phones to validate my arguments. After all my tinkering, usage, and exploration with the products, I have made the determination that I don't like, need, or want their product as I have usually also tried the alternatives and found something better in most every way or just better for my needs. Apple has yet to produce one product that I have found satisfactory for me.

But Lee, you don't like Apple products therefore you obviously haven't had enough exposure to them. It's the only right answer.

There is no need to hate apple products If they simply dont work for you.

than you have a problem. I never had a problem with an apple product. And had a ton with pc's. But I am not saying that all pc's are worthless, they just dont work for me as well as mac does.

Sure. It's the same reason I "hate" Ford cars. They don't work for me, so I avoid them. Even looking at them sometimes. I treat Apple's products the same. My frustration stems from people who blindly follow what's "cool" without looking for alternatives that would work better or give them what they want. They usually say wholly inaccurate things like:

You've even admitted yourself that the Apple MP3 player is insufficient for your own needs:

So why didn't you buy this, which has all the same functions and basic design as your Apple Nano, but with FM radio built-in?

    Check and mate.

Becuase zune is a cheap rip of from iPod. And it looks crappy, it does not have a sensor wheel. The software it runs is complicated. My stereo has iPod interface. Have you heard of a interface for zune in cars? No becuse they suck and no one buys them.

This can only end in one of two ways:
    1. Lee kills himself as he realizes that Taras has been right all along and his life is now meaningless.
    2. Taras realizes that he is the supreme God of consumer electronic knowledge and ascends to heaven on a stairway made of iPod colored gemstone steps.

*Slaps forehead* It's an example! Jesus!

    Here!
    Here!
    Here's a touch-sensitive UI! With FM!

The point wasn't that you should buy a Zune, I was asking why you didn't consider alternatives?

And yes, I have. Here's an interesting idea I've come across:
    http://www.patentmonkey.com/PM/IMTBlog/tabid/63/EntryID/107/Default.aspx

Also, many people have found other ways to make that happen on their own:

Additionally, your comment is inflammatory and fanboi-ish. I bet you have this.(NSFW)

I had both iriver and archos both had horrible interface and the programs to copy mp3s on them were terrible. And you cant buy separate songs from their programms like you can with itunes.

When you can make a complete and coherent sentence, I will believe you that Apple products are worth the top dollar you pay for them. Apple needs to implicate some sort of spelling error detection to help you along in your daily posting of worthless garbage.

My Ipod pic I had before my touch was so terrible I wanted to throw it against a wall. I brought it in countless times under warranty at best buy but it never really seemed to get fixed then it got stolen. I decided on getting the touch and trying apple one last time, and I love the features but it freezes a lot and never seems to hold battery life like its suppose to. I don't think i will buy a new ipod again, I will wait till something else comes on the market.

He's probably using safari. Maybe if Taras did some research/experimentation on what was better, he'd find Firefox. It has spellcheck.

Or even better, Camino! Firefox on OSX is basically the PC version, ported over. It has some nasty memory leak issues and random crashes on OSX (lol inorite? crashes on a Mac?).

Camino is an implementation of the Mozilla rendering engine natively coded for OSX. It has many of the features of Firefox, pretty much everything except plugins (which I love on my PC BTW). Even speeelcheck!

i was typing that response on the iPhone. Sometimes its hard to type quick and not make little mistakes. And anyway I am not writing a paper I am just typing on a forum. You guys just try rip on me for every possiable reason. However I see there quite a few people who would like to get an iPhone or have one right now. Why you always have to make anything I post about as a personal attack? This was intended as normal conversation, but some people just don't want to normaly talk about this they just want to BS about how they hate apple becuse its popular and successful. And it does not matter if they are successful because of their marketing or because their products are good.

it has an "inteligent" spellcheck. If you type a word three times it will remember how it is spelled. That is both good and bad, it makesit easier if you use words that are not built in but bad because it will pick up bad spelling as well.

Just please keep this as a civilized conversation. It makes me realize that half of the people in this forum can only talk about guns, drinking and bashing other people. Come on guys let's have a normal unbiased conversation. Its not even politics.

You want to keep it civilized with comments like that? there are more Ipod/iphone/mac threads then gun AND drinking threads combined.

Double-standard a bit? Myself, I didn't feel a need to interject until you began spewing your regurgitated Steve-Jobs man-batter all over this thread. Until then I simply kept my comments to myself but I must feel a need to counterbalance your attempt at infusing BS lies into the conversation. And I have yet to make any personal comments about you.
