    I've been pondering how that would go over...
    Most people are saying some of the styling of the 08's has to do with subaru targeting the family car market...

    Why not try and make everyone happy, and also offer a little two door, two seat, heck maybee even a convertible, full blown sports car...something along the lines of miata or MR2?

    i think they should make something in cooperation with Prodrive, very similar to the P2.

    Secksy. Very much so. Maybe even a mid-engine AWD...... hmmmmmmm

    As long as it doesn't call something like "Subaru Impreza Roadster"...that will kill the whole Impreza name... like the new Civic Si, available in 4dr? come on. For me that kills the whole Si models. but ohwell, its a Honda anyways...

    Want to prove that at an autoX? I'll be there anytime you want. (I actually like the MR2 and think they are great little machines, I just think you are going to have a very hard time keeping up with my lowly '96 L.)

    I want Subaru to make a 1900 lb, awd, 2 door, 2 seater sports car to stomp all over a Lotus Elise or a Corvette Z06 with. As long as they keep the 2.5L and push it to ~400 hp from the factory it shouldn't be to hard.

    I love how defensive you Subaru people are. As soon as i mention a car of a different brand that has a mid engine you go crazy. :laugh:

    I love my MR2, and my WRX

    Even tho my comment was pointed at SHIBBS

    Anyways Toyota owns 20% of Subaru.
