I received this along with the parts to convert to a rear antenna that I bought on NASIOC. The seller tought that it was a filter for the antenna but I think it is a choke coil for the rear defroster. funny thing is that it is labled as Clarion model NSA-170-100? Anybody able to confrom this? Also wondering as a side note which side the window antenna connects on at the window?

    Carl,

I know you can see the antenna, which side does it run on and could you take picures?

    Thanks

nope, i do not have the car in my possession and that item is lying in a box in my garage.

however, I can tell you that the box marked clarion mounts on the rear deck on the passengers side. the red wire should run to the defrost terminal on the passenger side and the black to the drivers side

Yes the JDM glass has the antenna built into it, and even without the amplifier hooked up it seems to work better than the front antenna?

    Carl,

I was looking more for how the antenna runs and which side the amplifier and connection are on?

    Thanks

I'll look for pics of that when I get home. the antenna system is all on the drivers side.
