It is possible, I have a pair that lace up the side. Well ... i doubt it's possible to get those anymore unless you want to pay far out the wazoo for them. And boots. You can't forget those. I have them too.
That wouldn't do well on a bike at all! Of course they're leather! What kind of protection can pleather offer?
