They didn't offer one for my MY but *if* they did, I would have preferred un tres en un arbol. Also, bench seats and a footie e-brake.
because outside of the situation where the vehicle you are driving is so fast that you simply cannot react fast enough with a manual (i.e. professional race drivers), i think computers already do too much in cars. People these days aren't drivers, nor do they drive. They are motor vehicle operators, and they are simply operating another appliance in their lives, because there are so many extra control systems ''for your convenience'' that the 'driver' is nearly out of the equation. Hell, outside of turning the wheel and pushing a few buttons, you really don't have to do anything at all anymore. Some cars even brake for you with sensors and things. I prefer as few electronic nanny systems as possible, and I like being able to tell me car what gear I would prefer to be in.
but I did....and I love it. I see no need for a manual in my life, I have long commuets, blonde hair and hate the smell of burnt clutch.
Dont say stupid things and people wont treat you like a retard. And when you decide "screw it, I am going to say stupid **** anyway",ddon't get all soggy when people don't pat you on the back for it. I am all for not coddling or encouraging stupid. Welcome to real life. Here in the meat world, you learn to interact socially, and if you slip up and make an ass of yourself, you learn the lesson and move forward. Don't want to learn the lessons? Well, don't be surprised when people get pissed at you.
Tax or license, still have to apply, get approved and pay. Also it has to made before 1986 or something like that too.
Are the tax stamps automatic? They must be for lazy people. I'll be double-clutching the **** out of my tax stamp because I'm hardcore. Y'all are just pussies if u no drivin manual stamp.
take your ball and go home, ricer... and yes, by ball i mean the one remaining shriveled up lump between your legs.
I am actually enjoying having an auto around, V8 Torque helps that a lot, even thought the car is still slow as hell. That being said the 700R4 is gonna find a home on my garage floor over the winter.
Omg. I think you are ALL fantastic. The testosterone oozes out of this forum like Bavarian cream out of my Sunday morning doughnut (there's one for you Idget...). And the talk of meat... LMAO. MMM, bacon wrapped bacon cheeseburger. Lee, I think you should back off for a minute , take a breather and come back tomorrow. If you have truly had "5 great months" here, I think to let it all go after one disheartening TYPED convo would be a damn shame. AND I agree that if a person has such seriously strong opinions, they should probably work on thickening their skin a bit (especially opinions about such a subjective driving topic on a car forum). For me, I'm just trying to get used to driving a manual tranny again after a LONG hiatus. I am doing it in a 4 speed. - a first for me & a 4 cylinder also a first for me... I was questioning if I was shifting too early and lugging the engine today. (Just ask Idget and Tangled) Probably overly concerned about this point tho... truthfully, shifting feels quite natural and I am having a blast feeling the connection to the engine. BUT... it is difficult to smoke my cig while drinking my coffee on the way to work in the morn... my two vices.
That's better then Josh shifting both his sticks while watching the half ass morning show via his porn machine during rush hour traffic... Some how he always gets his pretty pink lipstick on with out smearing it
Practice grasshopper, LOTS of practice....it's an every morning thing. I currently added cooking bacon on my Foreman grill that's plugged into a power inverter and rests on my passenger seat. I rely very strongly on 'muscle memory' now. And if you'd ever like to watch, i know that you are a little voyeur, i've been recording it all via my GoPro setup.
