Will 06 WRX Rims fit 04 Sti

    Hey I am a little confused on the offset thing yet. I know that 04 Sti have a 5x100 bolt pattern +48 offset. But I came across some 06 WRX rims the same bolt pattern and size of my stock bbs 17x7.5. I Will like to know if they will clear my brembos? ... Thanks

    I believe the WRX rims will not clear you brembos...

    Nope, the 2006-2007 wrx wheels will not clear the brembos (but maybe with spacers)
    I have confirmed this by trying it out with a friends car.

    no they wont i believe the rs 6 spokes clear brembos tho

    what size of spacers?... I am looking to use them next winter

    I think the rs 6 spokes only clear the 4 pots not brembos

    ? thats strange weren't all 06-07 rims the 5X113 not 5X100?

    I believe that to be the case.

    WRX is still 5x100. It's just the 05+ STi that got the bigger wheel bearings, necessitating the change.

    I find out that the 06 WRX are 17x7.5 +55 offset whats the differece between
    +48 and +55??

    google search offset, backspace, wheel width, and centerline.
    Also, in this case, its the spoke design that is the issue.
