Window Squeek?

My driver's side window squeeks when going up and down...from the "sleeve" by the mirror. Anyone know of a good clean fix?

 

JB 80 (twice as good), lol jk just take off the door card and look inside should take more than a half or so.

Seriously? WD 40 or ya think there's something stuck in there? It's been doing since day 1 i think (oct '07 new)

 

Grease less lubricant if anything I spray that everywhere

yeah mine started doing this on the front passenger window about a month ago... been to lazy/busy to take care of it.. will ask at the dealer tomorrow and get their insight into what they use on Fords..

 

mine does it ever since the body shop replaced my driver door...interested to see what works cuz it really really annoys me

 

I guess everybody have this problem. My passenger side window makes embarrasing noise too when open/close. It sort of started when I wash my car too much. What I did was clean the rubber thing that the window go closed between it and it help but only for a few days. I just live with it now. still embarrasing though.

I just used my pinky and got the dust out of the front run channel. No more squeeeeeking.

I had a really squeaky driver's side window too... sprayed a bit of white lithium grease in there right where the window makes contact with that black triangle thingy next to the mirror. Then I ran the window up and down a bit, wiping off any grease that showed up on the glass. It didn't stop squeaking right away, but it gradually got better and better as the grease worked it's way around in there. Now my window's squeak free!

FOUND A $1.99 FIX!

Graphite Lubricant (one tube). Squeeze a little in the corner of the window where it's squeeking. Rub around a little.

Works great.

I remembered this stuff from my boy scout days. Used to use it on the axles of the pine box derby cars we'd build. Boy Scout FTW!

 

My driver side window does this, crazy, Subaru and squeaky windows, who would've thought?
