Well, I prefer Chevy over Ford...so there! Sound familiar?

I beat the crap out of my XP machines (think days of data crunching at a time just to get some pretty histograms) and haven't had any major issues at work or at home. Is there better? Probably for some things, not for others. Do I care? No, things work fine so I spend my energy on better things.... :p

    same here.

I think a huge problem with windows machines is user error or a crappy install job. I've never had problems with either XP or win2k.

I've done a lot of computer support for engineers over the years, and the problems generally can be traced back to an improperly torqued fastener to the operating side of the input device or a ID: 10T error.

Add the Flyer to a Toaster 4000, and it was near perfect.

Alrighty, NO MORE WINDOWS VISTA for me now. My first LabTop, I went back and trade for another similar Item. Got back home use it for less then a week. It STILL has same problems. VISTA SUCKS, returned it for a full refund. Went and get a Refurbished HP WINDOWS XP Media Center Computer. Been using that for over a week now and it has no problems at all. GoodDeal, got the hardrive computer for $380(refurbished), 19' LCD Widescreen monitor for $130(new), Hp Photo Printer for $180(new), and some other accessories. Not bad for my LabTop money. I even have about about $150 extra. My LabTop cost me $950. Maybe 2yrs from now I'll get Windows VISTA when its better operating.
