Group Buy Update :biggthumpup:Good news so far. I've reached out to a few tire dealers in the area and things are looking real good for you peeps that want Nokians at Group Buy pricing. Special Note: As most of you know, traditionally the Group Buy means you have to put down a deposit and be able to pay the remaining on a set date with everyone else that's participating. I don't feel that's the best approach for such an expensive purchase...that really limits the amount of people that can take advantage of the Group Buy pricing. So, my goal is to secure one or two companies that will provide the Group Buy pricing over a set period of time (couple months) so you can make the purchase when you have the cash. Ultimately this should provide us with more "member friendly" options. (including more tire options than strictly Nokians, possible discounts on mounting/balancing/tire rotation, etc...) Hang in there...I'm out hustling as we speak. Should have something within a week or two!

excellent, getting close guys. NOTE: All tire manufactures..INCLUDING NOKIAN are raising their prices effective October 1st. There's nothing we can do about it. The vendor I'm working with will send me their example wholesale prices for the Nokian RSi on October 1st. I NEED YOU FOLKS TO RESPOND ON HERE WITH YOUR DESIRED TIRE SIZE. I will then let the vendor know what example prices we would like to see.
215/45/17 It's best to just go with stock sized winter tires if they are going on the stock wheels right?

thanks peeps, the list has been sent to the potential vendor. I will not hear back from him until later this week as the tire manufactures are (unfortunately) raising prices Oct 1st. Once we have the list back we will be ready to go with our first winter tire vendor
So, for us with '06-'07's mounting on stock wheels (215/45R17 size tires)...would it be okay going up to 225/45R17? I know stock size would be ideal....but it looks like it's not gonna happen. And will the Blizzaks be cheaper
yes, much cheaper. As much as I would personally love a set of hakka's I've never jumped on them because of the price...even with the discount
