    Well I still haven't made up my mind - maybe I'll have to wait and see what I get for a rental, lol...

    Old Chicago I assume, or are we gonna try the lake?

    Lets do one more at Old Chicago. After tonight we'll close this thread and start herding people over to the summer thread. I was game for it tonight but the weather is sketchy, combined with not much notice.


    Any objections to pulling the trigger after tonight?

    I'm game for Calhoun. Bring a light jacket as it still gets cool once the sun goes down. Sometimes is does get hotter when the sun goes down ;)

    ^ why is it like having beer googles on, expect its the dark making you not able to properly see instead of beer. I am also game for calhoun picking my car up tomorrow! 69 tomorrow ;)

    How bout 2 meets, If you wanna go to Calhoun go. say starting around 5 o'clock...and people who don't wanna go can go to OC at like 7:30pm....plus anyone who wants to do both can. They can caravan to OC when it starts getting dark. Probably get over to OC a little after 8

    Why don't we just go to old Chicago in uptown after if people want to have a dual meet? There's plenty of places to race and rev our engines around the lake.

    I know that was a bit tongue in cheek, but I have to throw it out there to please be nice around the lake. We'll start getting hassled A LOT if we start pissing off the prudes with houses in the area and the cops on speed dial.

    On a more serious note, **** the prudes. They can't do **** about people hanging out at a public park. As long as we don't break laws, they can be as pissed as they want and call the cops every ten seconds for all I care.

    agreed we have a good thing going and a good relationship with the police in the area for the most part none of them bother us(occasionally the newbies and park police will come poke about for parking passes)

    Enjoy your tint and aftermarket everything tickets. I won't be there if people start doing that. :)


    If you were a cop I doubt you'd have any problem figuring out how to make it unpleasant for anyone in the area.

    ^This. We've never had any issues with the local residents or the police at Calhoun. You do have to pay for parking tho, or the parking peeps will ticket you! There is nothing wrong with us utilizing a public parking area as long as we keep respecting the laws of said lot(pay for your spot and keep the trash in the garbage cans). And i'm sure that Jesse was only kidding about the revving and racing comment. lol

    Everyone is usually sitting to the right of the entryway, towards the bathrooms. You should recognise them as they will be wearing flatbilled hot pink hats and saying "Bro" alot.
