Winter Tuesday Meet

Well it's about that time again... Who's in?

 

I'm in. At this rate, they'll never be a Calhoun meet...

 

id come out if it wasnt in roseville i already work here so im not about to drive home to the GV and then back out

 

I still vote destination meet...I'm in Atlanta this week, and Sweet Water Brewery has some delicious brews....who's in?!

 

I'm in Atlanta every other week for work. I think Sweet Water makes it, but there's a beer called Terrapin or something like that, anyway it's pretty good. Hit up the bar at the Intercontinental in Buckhead, awesome place.

Was in Atlanta last week, had a client dinner at a place called "Two Urban Licks"...it was decent, but be prepared to smell like a camp fire after you leave. I'm out there a fair amount and do enjoy the Sweet Water brews

 

Yup, been there before actually. If I remember right, that was the place that was kind of tucked away, and had some salmon chips appetizer? Delicious!

 

Yup, the kind of place you feel like the cabbie is taking you to blow your brains out...then pulls up to the valet. We had the salmon chips, tuna tar-tar, empanada, & calamari for apps. Then the bistro steak for dinner. It was pretty good, service was horrible though. I always have to remind myself...everything moves a little slower in the South!

 

I blame the alpacas.

Was it a fairly short lady with curly dark brown hair in a pony tail? She was a real B the last two times she served us.

Calhoun is open now, I propose we move to summer meets April 30th since this week is supposed to be filled with rain.

 

I'm planning on going to Old Chicago till it's warm enough to not be miserable at a lake.

 

Well its supposed to be in the 60's the week of the 30th. Unless another snowstorm comes out of no where, I will be enjoying the warm weather at the lake.

 

Like the winter storm warning for tonight? They saying six to nine inches.... I'm so sick of snow...

 

Yea, just like that. We're all tired of the snow, but by the end of this week it will be in the 60's.

 

If it is actually 65 and sunny on Friday, and subsequently hits 70 on Sunday, I will first: crap my pants. Second: Plasti-dip my summer wheels in blaze orange in celebration!

I checked this weekend twice, it's open.

 

..slaps forehead,,I agree on moving the meet on the 30th..unless we want to change it up tomorrow and do a different oc.

 

Jordan had the idea of going to cowboy jacks (might have trashy cans).

I just checked and neither downtown or Bloomington has trashy cans. Bloomington has bingo at 7 and cheap fajitas. Downtown has the same band that uptown had and the usual 2 dollar rails with half price apps. Not to mention the parking situation downtown is not cheapest.

 

after further research...cowboy jacks in Plymouth or St.Cloud is the only locations with trashy can Tuesday's.
