    Old Chicago was so busy last week (hour+ wait) that we went to Stouts instead. Do we want to try OC again this week and see if it was a fluke? I kind of like the idea of looking elsewhere given the historically abysmal service coupled with last week's experience.

    Thoughts?

    I guess it depends on the weather and how many will actually show. It was ironic that it was an hour + wait for OC. The service was mediocre at stouts last week.

    Shut it Dean.

    This isn't a "We don't want to go there because of violent crime and subsequent police activity" conversation. It's a, "service has always sucked, appears to suck moreso now, but whatever. Thoughts?" conversation.

    No strong feelings either way. Now would be a good time to look if we want to try for something with better service and better food though.

    The service was FANTASTIC at Stouts last week compared to OC any week before that. The fact that it was actually just mediocre is exactly what I'm talking about.

    OC is always busy when they open a new mini tour. I'd expect things to be back to normal this week. We can always sit in the main dinning room for better service. The bar is understaffed on weeknights.
    My vote is to stay at OC (and this is coming from the guy who lives stumbling distance to Stouts), but I'll go with what the group decides.

    This...I remember our (normally overwhelmed, yet still friendly) waitress mentioned that last week was the launch of a mini tour, which is normally slammed.

    Anyway I'll probably be stopping by later on...if someone can update the thread with where you end up, I'll show up there and hope you weren't full of ****.

    Yes, 7ish at Old Chicago in Roseville. Just look for a long table in the bar area with a bunch of sorry looking dudes and 2 women max.
