Did you see the opening olympic ceremony? Bush was sitting next to Putin. I wonder what they were talking about last night...

Putin "So, Bushy, you better watch the news tomorrow".
Bush "Why? Am I going to be on it?"

Wait, wha...? Instead of doing what?

The government is gonna' do what it wants to do, because the people of this country have become so complacent and apathetic. The American people are content being in the dark. As long as we have access to beer and American Gladiators, we'll remain as same as the song. Washington is corrupt, and will remain that way. We just have to accept it.

So does it really matter what WE do? No. It doesn't. Besides...the government planned 9/11...:ugh:

lulz. That whole "we gotta kill them before they kill us" attitude is just dumb. It is called blow back for our foreign policy. We did it to ourselves and now we are outraged that it happend. It is like the CEO of a company changing the benefit's package of all his employees and then getting pissed when they quit. But whatever....go kill as many people as it takes for you to sleep at night I guess.

Truth. I mean come on...didn't anyone see The Dark Knight? The people on those boats had to make that same decision. No one did anything, and they all lived to see another day. :)

Did you know that in the 20th Century, over 60 Million people were killed because of war? We're a collective bunch of idiots. Civilization isn't very civil.

we'll let NATO take care of this one. I for one doubt that washington will step to push on the russians, especially for a country like Georgia. What do the russians have an interest in Georgia for anyway? Is it possible they dont ahve an resources the russians want, and they are seriously interested in the genocide that could be occuring?

For all we're interested, as long as the Russians can give the impression of cops they will okay.

Update: It's official, the fit has hit the shan.

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/08/09/georgia.ossetia/index.html

Well, it's official now. Last night one of the things that was talked about was the oil pipeline that runs through Georgia to Turkey, allowing us to buy oil from them instead of the Russians. Us providing transport for their 2,000 troops back from Iraq is also a pretty clear statement. Here's hoping this one gets resolved quickly.
