Suprizing both of us are a little sore. We drove the car out of the trees and continued the 3 stages miles and 15 transit miles to finish the rally! Stupid tree stumps
t3h car is t3h crushorzd! and i bet some of you guys are going to be complaining about a few busted bumpers due to the ice race this weekend.
dibs on engine setup and rear brake/rear suspensions IF this goes on... and back on topic! damn that sucks!

What a pud. "when i hit the water i gassed it and was in a four wheel drift. ( i gassed it because i know how to drive a car unlike some other sh*ads who dont know that when an allwheeldrive car breaks loose the worst thing to do is hit the brakes and spin out." if you start to slide, and your in a tight situation.... lift, correct, and countersteer. AWD, FWD, RWD. it's the same thing for all of them. it's like the rhyme goes, "When in doubt, both feet out. when in spin, both feet in" i love him blaming it on his tires too... their "cheater slicks". Right.... Aparently you don't know how to drive, because you crashed your car, off the watter from a sprinkler. you pud.
Here's another pic of a mangled 06 STI. Courtesy of Travis Pastrana at the 100AW rally this weekend. (same one mike just mangled his legacy at)
I don't know how much fun crashing would be, but I know racing is fun Just ask mike how he feels right now... he'll say, it hurts to walk
Someone in Edina has been trying to sell a '96 Legacy with blown motor on Craigslist for next to nothing lately. Might check there for a new shell
Actially becides the driveshaft rubbing on the tunel, it drives fine. We still drove it 15 miles on the street at 50 mph. So this will be the start of the transplant for the new wagon! Well I guess this is a great way to take a break from the sport, I'll be back into it in a year or so, with a open class GC or a GD body
Yea racing is a blast!! but unforntally it does hurt to walk  Thankfully I went to the doctor today, and nothing is broken or cracked just brused.
Not a suby but.... Mike had worse luck than I did. I'm afraid my bad luck may have run up my tow rope and jumped into Mike's car when he towed us out after I ran afoul of a chicane. We move an eight foot, 800 lb earthmover tire 10 feet. The impact threw us into the ditch and we could not get out on our own. Mike was nice enough to stop and give us a tug. That allowed us to continue and finish the rally. While it wasn't pretty for either of us, we both lived up to the rally slogan of press on regardless.
