would i need a bore or honing service?

    i currently have a problem with the cylinder 2, leakdown test came out to be 20%, the rest are 15% and under, i was wondering would i need a hone or a bore? havent taken the motor out and was thinking about taking it to a shop to do the labor, serious help!

    leak down is generally valve train related not pistons.

    until it's cracked open, we can't tell you whats wrong with it.

    If its an earlier WRX I would bet burnt exhaust valve. But since its prolly a Pontiac Vibe who knows... LIST WHAT VEHICLE IS HAVING THE PROBLEMS, WE CAN'T READ MINDS :D

    I read the title as "hore and boning service". I got nothing and am sorely disappointed.
