This charity auction place has a '97 Outback that has a suspiciously low buy it now price.....

but, if there's a reason it's priced so low, I'd like to save a trip. anyone? I know there are lots of members out in that part of town, and it wouldn't take long to take a peak, listen to it run for a minute, poke around the engine bay, etc.

 

for the record.....we went today and looked at it. and took about 2 seconds to realize that we didn't want it. oily residue splattered all around the cap for the coolant overflow reservoir, which was empty, and the radiator couldn't have been half full. we didn't go any further than that.....just left. would've been nice to save the trip, but we'll look a bit in the morning.....might find something else interesting.
