Got a car with a crappy factory paint job where the paint flies off immediately after leaving dealer. Add to that 12 years of ownership and some chips are starting to rust. Some door dings and other things that could use pdr treatment. Considering getting things fixed and then maybe a wrap. It isn't a daily. I am sure I don't want to commit to a paint job and clear protective film with this. Is a wrap a good solution for 5-6 years of ownership?

I'd ask at mnsportcompacts forum but it is gone.

If it's garaged and the application is properly done, I'd say so.

I'll second Montana, His wraps and banners are top notch.

Using a high grade vinyl should last 4 to 5 years.
Just like anything else, it’s all about the prep work and install. Surface needs to be extra clean. (No waxes)

I'm hoping to get 5ish years out of my wrap but the car is garage kept and mainly just weekend driven in summers. Daily driver you might start seeing edges lift and such in the tight areas

I have some Montana vinyl on the car already - crossed corn and skull in red.

    Thanks!

Nice! Figured I'd just mention him since a bunch of the drift guys and some of the guys doing auto-x and time attack style stuff have been having him do a fair bit.
